Alan stood in front of the glass window, looking into the city. The company headquarters was situated on the edge of the city and from where he stood, he could get a good, panoramic view.

His day had been hectic. He had just finished a business meeting.

And right now, the only image that kept playing in his head was his brother behind the executive seat.

His brother was back and he had a degree. That meant Alan was currently sitting on a time bomb. That was the agreement before their father decided his will.

If Alan got married on time, then he would take over the company but if his brother got the degree

He grabbed a bottle of exotic fruit wine and popped it open. He picked up a glass and poured some of the wine. He drowned it in a single gulp.

He had barely taken a few more gulps when a knock sounded on the door.
