Chapter 144: Hoarder

"So you died... You saw Anna, and Micah..." Elyse repeated for the fourth time, , her voice echoing softly in the dimly lit corridor.

"Yes." I replied for the fourth time, feeling a touch of frustration creeping in. "And then Micah told me to read his will at his funeral." I said, again. "Didn't Elle share her story with you? She died, and she saw Anna." I pointed out.

As we moved through the shadowy corridors of the castle, whispers between us were as quiet as the flickering torches lining the ancient stone walls.
