"If you want to learn how to fight, how to use your knife, you get in. I'll make you a deal. If you get in and take your training seriously, I'll take you to the next fight with the dark ones and I won't leave you behind. I promise." Sam said.

"You will take her to the battlefield?" He asked, his tone shocked. I stared at the demon who sat in the carriage, multiple weapons around him waiting to be used. "Yes. I will not leave her with someone else. Fay will go to war with us." Sam said from behind me, removing the knife from my throat at last.
