Chapter 1: Those Fierce Eyes

[THIRD PERSON'S POV]

Being the focal point wasn't really Primo's specialty, but here he is, sitting in a chair in front of five people. They don't stop looking at him every now and then after they read some information about his papers.

One of them, the middle-aged woman, puts down his documents and proceeds to look at him with sharp eyes. Primo can only swallow his saliva. His hands trembled, and he shuddered at the way the middle-aged lady looked at him.

"Primo Aziel Hughes." The woman called his name and Primo didn't like the way it sounds.

"Yes, ma'am?" he tried not to stutter by answering.

"So you studied in one of the best photographic schools here at the University of Transylvania. You also got a license for photography. Impressive." She said in a nod. Primo smiled and bowed like a true recognition for having said such things.

And your photos are so great. Everything was amazing!

"Thank you, ma'am."

"But..." First looks slowly at the not-so-old, who watches it from head to foot.

Everybody, including the other interviewers, obviously, looks at the guy.

"Don't you think he would be a great model for the agency? Look at him. He's got that beauty, being a young man. Slim figure, that's what I'm guessing behind those clothes." He said, still watching Primo, which was already sweating.

"Well, I do agree. But I would like to see." A young-looking woman commented.

"Would you mind stripping, Mr. Primo?"

Primo was caught by surprise, and now he was shaking very hard. Was that even necessary? Why wouldn't they ask him first if he likes it or not? Well, he didn't really like it, though.

Everything had gotten in a wrong way as a broken question left his mouth.

"W-what?" he asked a little too loud.

"Oh, I'm sorry. I didn't say that very rightly. What I mean is, would you mind removing your upper clothes for us? We would like to see because we think you had a sympathetic figure to be a model." the woman said, which made Primo a bit relieved, but still, the uncomfortable feeling didn't leave him.

Why, all of a sudden? Why'd they asked something like that? He came to apply as a photographer in the first place.

Primo fidgets his fingers, feeling nervous, even though he knows he has the right to reject.

"I-I am sorry sir, ma'am. But I can't accept the proposal. I am here to apply in the photography industry. I am truly sorry." he said as he bowed down.

"Oh, too bad, but we understand. We're sorry for asking you something like that." the guy said as the others nodded.

"It's o-ok sir." he stuttered 'coz he know, that wasn't ok at all.

"We'll just call you Mr. Hughes if you passed. Thank you."

"Yes sir, ma'am. Thank you."

As Primo stepped out of the interview room, he felt his body weaken and slumped down on the floor. This happens to him all the time. Everyone might think that it was just so simple, but for him, it isn't. He's sensitive and he can't handle such things as that. He has the beauty, the porcelain skin and blue eyes matching his raven hair. The beauty he had can capture everyone, even a man. But also, the beauty he has can turn a person into a beast, a possessive and obsessive beast.

He released a long sigh as he stood up again. It was so hard applying like that, but he'll get used to it soon. Being naïve like he is, he thinks it was just normal? Maybe because it was just his first time, he thought to himself.

When he was out of the building, he directly went home.

"Primo!!! How's the interview?" her sister came out from the kitchen and hugged him tight.

"Tiring. I was so nervous back there is. They look so scary... and weird." Primo tensed as he remembered what had happened back there.

"Yeah, I was like that the first time I tried to apply. Their eyes are so sharp."

"Yeah." he chuckled as he scratched his nape.

"Anyway, take a rest. I'm almost done cooking. We're about to eat."

"Ok old lady."

Prima turn around only to glare at Primo, who was stopping himself from bursting out a laugh. He just love teasing his sister.

"I'm not that old!!! I'm still... 35..." she said, the numbers low and her cheeks turned red. But just like her brother, she also had the beauty, unmatch beauty, to be exact.

Primo giggled as he looks at Prima.

"Yeah, whatever, you're old enough. Look, you don't even have a lover."

"Shut up Ziel, having some lover is still not on my mind. I still have you."

"Aww sweet as ever. You're the best."

"I know." Prima said as she winked at Primo.

After breakfast, Primo directly went to his room and grab his camera. The most precious thing he would have. He earned money just to buy it. It might be not the latest model, but at least he has one.

He went downstairs again to remind Prima that he will be out for today. Prima nodded since she will go out to buy some groceries either.

Primo stroll to his favorite spot. It was a bit far, but he can still manage to walk from their house to that place. Since Lexington was a city, you cannot see anything but a big scary building. But there is only one part he loves the most.

It was on the beach. While waiting for the call to receive, he went there and enjoy the sound of waves and enjoy the breeze. Today's season is not that bad. It wasn't too hot, and the breeze was hugging him.

Primo was walking around. Now and then, his eyes landed on something beautiful. Makes him brought his camera up and in just a click, it captured every beauty with an angle that added enhancement on it. Primo smiled and look at it. He always wears the most beautiful smile after capturing things. A satisfied one. That's how much he loves photography.

He stayed there until the sun was setting. He captured a lot of photos. But his favorite among it all was when the sun was drawling goodbye, giving the moon a chance to rise and flex how bright it is with the stars accompanying him in the dark night.

He stared at the horizon between the sky and ocean, where the sun hid. He breathed and smiled before he directed his hands towards his face, look at the sight he was capturing and snapped!

He stayed there on the shore after capturing the view for a moment and when he turned and was about to leave; he saw someone on the other side, not too far away from him. Primo was frozen, and the only thing he can do was to stare at the handsome guy matching the sunset he was facing. Everything was shining, the fading lights from the sun reflecting on the water, and even the guy who stood over there, watching Primo's favorite view.

Like it has its own mind, his hand brought his camera close to his face. His heart beating in a fast pace and in a flash of light, it snapped.

The guy noticed the flashing lights and immediately turn around, dark orbs meeting the blue one. Primo got nervous, and he panicked as his eyes widen to its extent. Primo turns around and runs away while his heartbeat rapidly.

"Hey stop!!!" he heard the guy shouted, so he sprinted faster that he could ever imagine.

When he looked back, he heard the guy keep calling. He saw the guy was still following him. He then run even faster. God, he just took a picture of someone without any permission. What just happened back there? He seemed like a stalker because of what he did.

Primo keep running and running, not aware of where he was going because of nervousness. He turned into a dark alley and stayed there, behind a large trash bin. That alley was already at an end. Thankfully, the guy did not manage to follow him or else Primo ended up in the jail. Stalking is a crime.

Primo sought her breath, too tired of running. After settling down, he came out of hiding, which made it even more difficult to breathe. He leaned over with his hands on his knees, not noticing that some guys were already standing in front of him.

The guys carry a frightening smile while watching a prey in front of them, ready to be eaten. The guy at the front flagged his two men, and they nodded their heads in response.

"Looks like we got a five-star dinner tonight, right?"
