Chapter Nineteen

Elena's POV:

When I felt the water on my face I shoot up and looked at myself. I was dripping with water and injury on the head stung. I glanced at Ben who was standing in front of me, fuming.

"Is this the same guy who kissed you in college?" Ben asked shoving my cell phone on my face.

There ten missed calls from dad and twenty from Eric and few from my friends. Then my blurry eyes landed on Jake's missed calls.

"No, he is not the same guy. He is a coworker. He must be calling to know if I have edited the pictures or not." I lied.

He looked ready to believe me when my cell phone decided to ring again. Unfortunately, it was Jake. Ben smirked and answered the call.

"Where are you? We are going crazy here to find you" Jake said.

A tear rolled down from my eyes when I realized how worried he sounded. I could tell he knew something was wrong.

"Princess, tell me what's wrong? Say something." He begged me.

Ben captured my neck and leaned towards my ear.

"Ask him to come here and save you." H
