Chapter 25 Jack

As I grab a glass to make a martini for one of the customers, I can’t help but keep thinking about Adriana. Every time she passes me in the bar or talks to me I just feel so attracted to her. I shouldn’t be thinking like this, I’m married and a soon to be father.

“Jack, do you need some help?” Adriana says.

“I think this is the right way to make the martini, isn’t it?” I say.

She comes over to see what I’ve been doing and puts her hand over mine, showing me that I’m supposed to add a slice of lemon inside the drink. As her hand touches my skin, I feel some sort of electricity flowing through my entire body.

“This is how it should be done. Pay attention.” She says.

“I am, trust me.”

She looks at me and bites her lip.

She then starts fixing my tie.

“Okay, now that’s more like it.” She says.

“I know my shirt and tie are a bit messy, I didn’t have much time. I actually rushed out of the house.”
