Being mature,I choose not to tell my mother of my father being alive.

My phone rings. "I've been waiting for a whole five minutes. Where are you?'

"Outside."

I look out the window. "We did agree to meet inside the cafe."

"Well I do not want to be seen with you so make it over here."

I groan but move nevertheless.

"You are awful."

"Why did you call me?'

"My father is alive." I announced completely shocked by the news even more. "She was with Ettiene and that bitch of his."

Silence.

"Then his phone rung and when I picked it up,you know who answered?'

"A woman! Mother to that woman who's name I cannot call.'

"Did you hear what I said?"

He nods.

"Why didn't you answer?" I narrowed my eyes on him. "Wait. You knew?"

"Why do you think I don't want to be seen with you?"
