CHAPTER THIRTY

MANNY

“Yes?”

She heard the female voice again. “Hello?”

Manny stayed trying to control her emotions. Andrew was with someone else and from the voice she sounded older than she was.

“Who's that?'' She heard Andrew's voice in the background and immediately hangs up.

Tears welled in her eyes, she should have known. Men in her life had never been faithful first Damon, now Andrew, after going on and on on how he would protect her.

She allowed the tears to run free as she couldn't hold them back any longer. “Ma'am? Is everything alright?” the lady woman was dressing, asked as she noticed her tears.

Manny nodded and wiped her face with her hand gently, it would be embarrassing if she saw her red puffy face.

Now, she wasn't that desperate to go back home.
