Austin was sitting on a chair around the dark brown desk that was set for doctors in a city hospital, he was reading a file of his patient. Austin is one of the best neurosurgeons in town and his schedule is always packed. He hardly gets time to rest or manage his other work, and by any chance, he gets time he prefers to sit alone and enjoy the quietness or he read his patient’s progress which is critical

Austin was writing down points on his pad to discuss later with his co doctors, he was engrossed in his work when Ethan entered in doctor’s room and kept files on the desk, removing his coat and placing it at the back of his chair he greets Austin who responded by nodding only

They both were working not disturbing the peaceful environment when Ethan raised his head from the file and broke the silence by starting the conversation on a topic currently on everyone’s tongue

"Did you know the management is deciding to give the hospital for acquisition to a company" Austin drops his pen to free his hand so he can take the coffee he is served five minutes before by the staff boy

"Why such a sudden decision, are they facing problems in financing" Austin raised the point after thinking for a moment about the reason behind this decision

"I don't know the details but what I heard from our seniors they said they are offered a handsome amount and once it is done, management will be changed here" Austin nodded at him understanding where all this is going to

"Who is interested in City Hospital?" Austin asked Ethan, City Hospital was among the good service-providing hospitals list, they have hired doctors with qualifications from a renowned university and have vast experience in their specialty. Austin joined this hospital after completing his practice and began his studies of specialization, Ethan had joined at the same time as him but he preferred specialization in cardiology, being together from start has created a strong bonding between them

"They say it's Martin Enterprise" Ethan signed the report and closed the file keeping it on the side, Ethan nodded and back to reading the file again

"You have free time today?" Ethan was surprised when saw him sitting in the room

"Yes, today was an urgent meeting of neurosurgeons so have to cancel appointments, but we got free earlier so enjoying my time" Austin informed him of the details

"Enjoying? Man, you need to be checked. Come on look at yourself, girls die for your attention and here you are wasting your charm on patients, okay that's our duty but still, you need to think about having some love in your life" Ethan starts his lecture which he gives to him every time they meet and have time for a long conversation

"Thanks for your suggestion I will surely think about it" Austin smiled at him fully aware Ethan will punch him on the back

"Become serious for your life" Ethan advised him again before leaving, smile removes from Austin's face

Abigail opened her eyes, blinking to remove the effects of sleep, she turned to her left side and picked up her phone to check the time on it which was still set on the time as per England’s

She dialed Charles’s number to inform him about her safely landing and having enough sleep to wipe off the tiredness from her body.

After having good chat on a video call with him, she opted for white fitted cotton jeans and a red colored baggy shirt for today and went to have a hot shower to relax her muscles.

Brushing her copper-dyed hair and leaving them untied to dry naturally she left her room and went to the lobby where Sebastien and others were waiting for her

“Come on Abigail, have lunch first and then we will go driving. You guys should be aware of your surroundings, also you should see the place where you will shift after a week until you are in France” Sebastien pulled a chair for her

They all had already started having their meal, her plate was filled with salad and steak and a soup bowl was beside her plate, she chooses to go for soup first

“We will need to go shopping too, we didn’t bring much luggage with us” Kimberly adds up the list

“Yup, add on the list” Dylan agreed with her taking a swig from his drink

“You have made sure no one knows about us,” Abigail asked Sebastien

“You are my mother’s guest and for that, I have asked her and my sister to join you guys for two weeks and they will also help you set up here” Sebastien already took the precaution

“You are a genius” Blake complimented

“It justifies he is a proficient detective” Dylan commented

They all finished their food and settled in the car, Sebastien turned on the ignition

“Where to first?” he looked at them from the rearview mirror

“Our home” Chloe suggested and looked at others for approval and they all agreed happily and Sebastien increased the pressure on the pedal leaving the car at speed

Derek was sitting in his office, reading an email he had received about internal information of Thomas & Co when a knock on the door was heard, he glanced at his secretary who stepped into his room and stood in front of him, holding a file in his hand which he kept on the glass of his desk, reaching his hand to the file Derek looked at him questioningly

Inside the file was the CV and documents of a person

“Sir, a young man handed me this and said he has been sent by Michael and is instructed to meet you” Derek furrowed his brows, he remembered he asked Michael for a person with software engineering having good hacking skills but he mentioned to let him know first and not sending anyone directly to him

Derek went to check his inbox where an email was received by him half an hour before when he was busy reading a p*f file on their rival company, opening the email he read the text which mentions the details and background check of the candidate he has sent to him, he skimmed the details and when was satisfied he allowed his secretary to send the young man in his office

Secretary left his office closing the door behind him, Derek opened the file and starts reading documents, when his door was opened again with a light knock and a man approached his desk

Derek raised his face and scrutinize his appearance, Man had worn a navy-blue shirt with black pants, and his dark blonde hair had covered his forehead he smiled at him

“Good morning, sir” Derek nodded his head at him and offered a chair opposite his desk to sit

“I read Michael’s email, he mentioned all your details also I read your documents I must say you would have been a quite intelligent student of your university”

“I would not take much time and will have a little conversation and you have to pass that for having this job” Derek looked at him questioningly and the man nodded feeling nervous

“We are told that our rival company wants to take over us in this industry which he is trying for a couple of years, our way of operating is different than others and my opinion is that might have given us an advantage” Derek paused and liked the attention of the candidate

“As I said they want to take our place, we have been informed of the ways they think they will succeed, and one is the hacking of our system. We have a very skilled and specialized team who manages our system and make sure their safety, we will not disturb them, instead, I have a different plan of work to do for this matter which will be communicated to the one who will be hired”

The man looked at him with confusion in his eyes, Derek smiled at his expression and glanced at his documents reading his name on top of the page

“Kylian, nice name it is” Man smiled at him

“Thanks”

“It was nice meeting you, we have your details, if you are hired our team will contact you” Derek offered his hand to shake which Kylian holds

“But sir you didn’t ask anything just briefed me about your company” Kylian tried to argue, afraid he is rejected

“That was an interview, I told you we operate differently” Derek informed him his face serious

“You can leave” Derek relaxed his back on the chair, and watched the man leaving his room in slow steps, once his door is closed, he dialed the number of Michael

“I want to meet you in my office, 3 pm sharp” giving order to him he hung up the call and continue his work of reading the p*f file
