" Yes I am,” he admitted and I almost choked on the egg in my mouth.

" I can't believe that!" I said and tapped his shoulders lightly.

" Yes you can," he said and I smiled before turning back to eat.

" I should go back home, it's late," I said.

" You don't need to. I called Rita and I've told her You're with me and will not be going home tonight," he said back.

" Are you not busy, I'm sure you have a lot of work to do, I don't want to be a hindrance to you," I said.

" I've been working nonstop for more than 8 years Esme, and I'm glad you're the one I get to spend my break with," he said and rubbed his hand on my cheeks.

" Hey, um can I ask you what you're doing for Rita, I need to know where I can step in," I said.

" You trust me right?" He asked.

" Yes I do," I replied looking up at him.

" I'll let you know if there's anything you need to do," he said and held me closer to himself.
