CHAPTER FOUR

“HELLO, Ms. Sotelo. This is Tymoteusz Primordial speaking,” he greeted as soon as the call was picked up.

“Oh, hello there Mr. Primordial. Hussain's asleep, I'm very sorry. I'll just tell her that you called.” ani ng kung sino muna sa kabilang linya.

Maybe this is her boyfriend. Sa isip-isip niya. “I'm sorry for calling this late hour, and it's fine… Mr.?” he asked politely.

The man on the other line heaved a sigh. “I'm sorry again. This is Lucas speaking, by the way.”

“Thank you, Mr. Lucas. I'll just call again if it's okay with you.” aniya.

The man chuckled at his remark. “You can call her all you want, it's nothing.” sabi nito.

“You're her boyfriend, right?” nagtatakang tanong niya.

And that's when Lucas laughed at him making him frown. “You're very funny, Mr. Primordial. I didn't expect that. Mag best friend lang kami ni Hain, bukod doon wala na.” paliwanag nito habang tumatawa pa rin.

He should feel offended because a total stranger is laughing at him but he didn't, instead, he felt relieved by what he heard.

“I'm sorry, Mr. Lucas. I thought you guys were together, and I don't want to cause any trouble that's why.” aniya.

“Just call me Lucas, Tymoteusz.”

“Alright, Lucas. Thank you. I'll just call her again tomorrow.”

“Call her around ten in the morning, she's free by that time, you're welcome.” Lucas said before he hung up.

A smile crept into his face as he put his phone down. He sighed feeling relieved.

What a good night indeed.

Morning came, Tymoteusz is smiling widely as soon as he woke up. He's in a good mood, he slept well last night which is very rare because of his nightmares.

“Good morning!” he beamed at everyone in the table.

His siblings looked in shock. He doesn't like eating breakfast, he doesn't greet them good morning, and he definitely doesn't smile in the morning.

His older sister, Thamira cleared her throat before greeting him back. “Good morning, Tymo. Did you get some good news?” she asked carefully.

He just shrugged his shoulders then he turned his gaze at Tyson and nodded at him which the latter understood.

“So, how do you find your new organization, Tymo?” Thanner, his eldest brother asked.

“Fine, I like it there.” he answered nonchalantly.

“Are you happy because they approved your writing?” singit ni Thallaine, ang pangalawang ate niya.

He hummed in response.

Thanner scoffed. “Anong bang mapapala mo sa pagsusulat? Mapapakain ka ba ng pagsusulat mo ng mga walang kwentang nobela?”

And just like that, his morning is ruined again. This is the main reason why he hated breakfast. Thanner has this bad blood for him that he didn't know what caused. They used to be so close, all of them, but suddenly, Tyson was the only who cares for him. It started when they moved out from their mother's place, maybe that was it. He asked them, but they kept mum about it until he just slipped away from them. Until he didn't like to be around them as if they make him sick by their mere presence.

He irritably dropped his utensils and stormed out of the dining room. He needs to calm down. Unconsciously, he opened his phone and looked at his wallpaper.

It may sound creepy, but he set Hussain's photo as his phone wallpaper and unknowingly, as he stared at her picture, he calmed down.

IT'S SIX in the morning, Hussain is being woken up by Lucas who kept shaking her.

She pulled the comforter to her head and kicked Lucas out of her bed. “Let me sleep for one more hour, Jammy!”

She heard him walk away and sighed. He opened the door, “Tymoteusz called when you fell asleep, I'll wake you up later, then.” anito bago niya narinig na sumara ang pinto.

She checked her call logs and saw his call history. He called her at such late hour, eleven in the evening.

She sighed, she's been waiting for his call because she wanted to see her improvement when it comes to her acting. And Tymoteusz is the only one who can judge her in that matter, she trusts Keirra's choice.

Her plan of sleeping for one more hour is now gone, so she decided to prepare herself.

“Good morning!”

“Good morning, ate.”

She smiled at them before kissing their foreheads. “The kuyas cooked our breakfast ba?”

“Yes, ate. They cooked and kuya Lucas helped them.” sagot ni Apollo sakanya.
