I woke up in Logan's arms the next morning but I didn’t feel as content as I was earlier. We had been here for a month now, Brock and I, surviving and struggling, Brock usually hunted antelopes, sometimes in wolf form, other times as a human. I stood now watching as he fired an arrow at a deer, the arrow hit precisely and the deer dropped on the ground, twitching a few times before it became still, Brock, face devoid of any emotion, stalked to the deer and pulled out the arrow. Brock had spent lots of time making weapons, we needed them as there were a lot of predators here: lions, bear, warthogs, boars, Hippos, you name it, Brock had been training me hard ever since a lion almost got me, the guy was certainly crazy, he trained me like I was his equal, and had no mercy. I watched as he hoisted the deer on his shoulder and walked past me heading to our make shift camp which was few minutes away. We got to the hut made of log and tree branches and leaves, tightly woven and covered with a blanket in case rain falls, my stomach rumbled loudly and Brock stared at me.
