113 Little time

"I think we need a break", said Matt rising from the chair.

"We just only started", I said or did protesting.

"No we have been going at it for a week", said Matt.

"Yet we don't have any clue", I said.

"That is exactly why we should take a break", he said.

"You hate talking", I told him.

"I don't hate talking but you want to talk about the murder nothing else", he said.

"What else you want me to talk about?", I asked him.

"US. Our daughter. Our future", he said.

"We will have no future if you don't get cleared out in the court", I said to him.

"I know but there is still a lot of issues other than that. We need to sort this out. If I get caught and thrown back there I may never get to earn your forgiveness", he said.

"You have done nothing to ask forgiveness", I said.

"That is a big lie. I know we have many problems and the way I treated you. Plus the things I have hidden from you have taken a toll on us. I know you haven't acknowledged that I'm really here. Somewhere deep down you stil
