Wolves began pouring in through the front door, some dropping in through the windows, causing further chaos as people jumped from the pews, stumbling toward the intruders as if prepared to fight.

I cried out in pain as I was dragged backward by a guard, my eyes briefly meeting the black ones of Alpha Reed, and I knew from the slight lift in his eyebrows that I was a sight.

Half of my face was severely bruised, and his stare traveled down my body to the bloody chains on my wrists.

“You’re making a powerful enemy, Reed.” Alpha Cain growled, but Alpha Reed’s head fell back with a deep laugh, breaking the connection between us just before a door was slammed in my face, muffling the chaos, growling, and yelling from the other side.

“Be a good little bitch and stay here.” The guard hissed as a howl rang out, and I let out a deep breath of annoyance through my nose as he locked my chains to a hook in the wall before racing out of the room, not wanting to miss the action.

    FAITH Within a few minutes of Kaiden leaving, I was dressed and opening the hidden panel in the wall by our bed. If he thought I wasn’t going to follow him and be a part of this, he was so wrong.
