Nikki's POV
My cheeks were still red from the incident that happened in the jet.
I was so terrified at that time that I didn't realize what I was doing. When the jet landed and I came to my senses, I found myself securely wrapped in Xaphan's arms.
All the blood rushed to my cheeks and ear as I found myself in his embrace with my own will. Abruptly I pulled back and looked down, not able to meet my gaze with him. He was also looking a little bit uneasy which was a surprise from his side. In fact, the way he looked after me, cooed nothing sweet in my ears, the whole journey and made sure that I am fine was a total surprise for me. By looking at the kind of man he is, I never expected this caring side from him.
