Unappreciated wife

The morning is a busy day, especially for a housewife who does everything herself. As with Carissa, every morning she is already preoccupied with kitchen affairs as well as her husband's affairs. Carissa is a very young housewife, she is only 24 years old, and she is married to Virendra Salvador, a young CEO. However, the fate of Carissa's household was not so smooth, being the daughter-in-law of the Salvador family did not make Carissa a queen to her husband, quite the opposite.

The Salvador family is known as a wealthy family, however, most people out there will never know, that the Salvador family is actually very stingy. They have a large house, but they only have two maids. They reasoned that they also have Carissa, who can help with the housework. Carissa wouldn't have a problem if she was still doing normal work. Regina, Carissa's mother-in-law, openly dislikes Carissa, and often gives her hard work, such as asking her to wash clothes by hand, mop the floor with cloth, and so on.

Carissa has been married for 2 years, but she is not yet pregnant. Carissa has had her condition checked, and according to the doctor, Carissa's health condition is fine, but after Carissa told her daily activities, the doctor concluded that Carissa was too tired, and asked her to reduce her activities, or to wash clothes in the washing machine, so it's lighter. Carissa had told Viren everything, but Viren's answer didn't seem to be on Cariisa's side.

"Carissa, aren't you pregnant yet? Because Daddy's friends ask a lot about grandchildren, it feels embarrassing because until now we haven't had a grandchild." In the morning, Yohan, who is none other than Carissa's father-in-law, has already discussed grandchildren.

"Maybe he's infertile," Regina said lightly.

"I'm not barren, Mom. I am in good health. It's just that I'm too tired with all the housework. Haven't I said it before? But no one of you believes it," Carissa didn't accept all the accusations, she put up a fight.

"So you're blaming me for your infertility?" Regina's voice started to rise. This is how it would be if Carissa defended herself, she would only be cornered further and look like a lawless daughter-in-law.

"Mom, I have no problem doing some housework, but please don't make my work more difficult. Like washing clothes by hand, for example, or mopping the floor with a cloth, this house is very large, and I have to do it myself," Carissa defended again.

"Carissa!" Viren snapped at Carissa in front of her parents. Viren's exclamation really echoed.

"Take care of your attitude and never fight against my parents; have you forgotten, you're just an orphan that I'm lucky to marry? Your status is higher now, can you act like a daughter-in-law?" As usual, Viren won't take Carissa's side.

'What did he say just now, I'm lucky to be married by him? Hey, if only I could turn back time, i would never want to marry him if i knew this. I am indeed an orphan, but I also do not sit idly by, I work,' thought Carissa.

"You demand that I always be kind, but can you also act like a husband? You have never defended me at all, never wanted to take my side, I need you as the head of my household, who always supports me. I also want to get pregnant, but you don't give me the slightest support," sobbed Carissa. She felt so tired of building a household with Viren, a husband who never respects his wife.

"Enough, Carissa—not just because now you are famous for being a radio announcer, now you are a dissident wife. If you know this, I won't let you work!" Viren snapped, he grabbed his briefcase and rushed away, without even touching his breakfast.

"Virene! Where are you going? You haven't touched your breakfast yet!" Carissa exclaimed, but Viren didn't hear her at all.

"This is all because of you, if my son gets sick, it's your fault." Regina snapped, and she left Carissa. Carissa was silent, she was confused about how she should react to the attitude of her husband and her in-laws. Carissa couldn't stay silent all the time, she also needed to defend herself, so that her husband and family would not continue to trample her.

Carissa kept thinking about Viren going to the office without having breakfast at all, so she finally decided to bring breakfast to her husband's office. Carissa drove her car to her husband's office. Arriving at the office, Carissa was greeted by her husband's security guard and employees. One thing they see from Carissa, they feel Carissa is the luckiest woman because she can be side by side with a Virendra, without their knowing how Carissa lives her life every day.

Carissa got out of the elevator and saw an empty secretary desk.

'Where's Ellena? Isn't it already office hours?' Carissa thought, "I don't want to bother," and was about to open the door to her husband's room. But when Carissa held the doorknob, she heard a voice that was so strange that Carissa knew the owner of that voice—her husband.

'Did I hear right?' Carissa thought, her heart beating faster. She heard a woman's moaning, but Carissa also didn't want to jump to conclusions before she sharpened her hearing again.

"Faster Ellen, I'm almost there, ahh ahh," the sound of Viren's babbling made Carissa weak, even her legs couldn't support her weight. With trembling hands, Carissa opened the door while activating the camera on her cellphone screen.

"Braakkk!" The sound of the door being pushed quite loudly surprised Viren and Ellen, who were making love on the couch. Ellen, who was on top of Viren's body and looked innocent at the front, immediately hugged Viren when he saw Carissa recording their struggle.

"Carissa! What are you doing!" cried Viren angrily. That's very funny, isn't it? Shouldn't Carissa be angry, seeing her husband having an affair with his own secretary?
