Three nights ago, when Chaz was almost killed by the pagan that was disguised as a hospital nurse, Alpha Gavin used his connections to finish Chaz's treatment that exact same night so he could bring him back to the coven.

When Selena heard this, she became worried.

Maybe Chaz has successfully undergone his treatments, but Selena knows that recovery takes time.

At the hospital, Chaz had his gallbladder removed, and the stitches in his lower abdomen were still raw and fresh as of now.

Even with the pagan's threat, Selena knew that there wasn't the certainty that he would heal.

The pagans may be dangerous, but there are a thousand ways Chaz could die while recovering at the academy.

He might be still in pain, but it's not like Selena would even take that as an excuse.
