Luciana's POV

I know what Massimo is trying to mean, which made me cross my arms. A smirk curled in my lips as I looked at him deep in his eyes.

“At least, he didn't reject me. Therefore, you and Sebastian were different, Massimo. Don't compare yourself to him, and don't expect that I will forget what you did to me. Being hurt deep inside is fatal, just so you know.”

After saying that, I turned away. I know I acted rude to Massimo because instead of thanking him, I left words that are inappropriate. But I have no regrets about it because I mean those words.

I thought walking away would push Massimo to leave me as well as my painful words. But it just gave him the chance to follow me from behind, using his car. I closed my eyes, while doing my best not to explode in anger.

“Get in, Luciana. I will bring you to school.”

I stopped, facing him.

“No need, Alpha Massimo. I can walk, and one more thing. The school is not far from here. I can reach there without getting late.”
