Vanessa's POV

“What?” He got them for me? As in, the ice cream?

“Aren't you the one just opening that bowl? Did it seem touched to you before then? I got them for you. I think about what you like and get them often because I want you to be comfortable.”

“Oh–”

“Who's the baby now? And where's my thank you?” My face fell and for once, I felt bad about my actions. I should've considered keeping shut.

“Thank you. I mean it.”

“I guess you've never meant the previous ones then.”

Our eyes met, and my cheeks flushed.

“Give me a minute, I'll go get ready—”

This man rounded the island just then and reached me as I was about to dump the ice cream.

“Okay, sure. Do that.” When he reached me, he took my hands, and he did the most erotic thing I had ever witnessed in my entire life.

He sucked the ice cream off my fingers, closing his eyes and licking the hell out of them, finger by finger, and I swallowed as I let myself shamelessly enjoy it, his eyes never leaving mine.

“Why are you like this?” I asked when he eventually let go of me, his eyes still trained one me like I was prey for him.

“Like what?”

I cocked a brow.

“Swear you have no idea what you're doing. Swear, Carmen.”

He chuckled, a grave, delicious one that sent vibrations straight to my tiny cunt. It was hungry, angry, and hateful towards me because I refused to let it swallow Carmen's cock.

My breath caught. I thought he was done with me. Was he teasing me? Why didn't I want to wash my hands away?

I took a step back, but he stepped in anyway, filling me with all of him. My eyes shook, my resolve completely weakening.

Maybe I should stop fighting the inevitable at this point. It's only a matter of time, he'd manage to drag me to his bed and do every nasty thing he's sworn to do to me. I had taken it off officially from impossible to inevitable. I'm pathetic.

“Hmm, I see why you kids like ice cream. It's awfully delicious.”

“You've not had ice cream before?”

I cleared my throat, trying to relax and calm the fuck down.

“Sometime in the past. I stopped and forgot how it tasted. But now I know it tastes just like you.”

“God, stop. That's such a hot thing to say.” I was getting flustered, bothered. The kitchen suddenly felt too hot.

“Yeah? It's hot?”

“It's making me question things. It's making me want to change my mind.” I responded truthfully.

“Don't tease me like that. I'm already running out of patience with you.”

“Damn, I'm so scared.” At this point I was slowly recovering and getting my sass back.

He just shook his head and walked out, telling me he was waiting for me in the distance. I don't like how he's able to resist me these days.

I finally let out a breath I didn't even know I was holding as he disappeared into the distance, and I forced myself to finish my ice cream before going up to freshen up.

I wore a flowery flare dress and put my hair up in a ponytail, wearing comfy sandals. It's important to be comfortable in the market, that way your outfit is one less problem. I learned that a long time ago.

He was waiting for me in his car, and I joined him in the front seat and we zoomed off.

He took me to the fucking mall.

“What are we doing here?” I asked, seeing the tall building in front of us, and the hundreds of people going in and out of it. I was boiling.

“Shopping, of course.” He was super calm and it infuriated me.

“You thought I was joking?”

“I didn't think so, I just didn't care.”

“I'm displeased, Carmen.” He wasn't fazed in the slightest. I doubted he even cared about my feelings and the fact that he didn't need to spend so much money. It's not like I'm cheap, but it's okay to get food items cheaper. Or was he embarrassed of me?

“You're going to sit in the car or you're going to come inside with me?”

Wow. I was a bit down.

“I'm going to the market, so kindly drive me there.” I didn't want to mention what I felt inside because it made me feel bad. Maybe he was embarrassed. Maybe he didn't want to be seen at the market with me.

I folded my arms and looked out the window. After a while, I turned around to see him unbothered, on his phone with a calm that drove me crazy.

“Carmen!” I roared at him. Sometimes I want to beat him up, but I can't, because I'm no match for him.

“Yes love?” I almost melted. He needed to stop calling me that like yesterday. I can't handle it. I'm not his love or anything like that.

“What about the local market?”

“I see. You should take us there then. I'm waiting.”

He relaxed into his seat. How could such a much older guy be invested in keeping malice with a little girl like me?

“But I don't know the way, and you know that.”

“Of course you don't. Imagine forcing me to go to the market and you don't even know the way. Mall it is then.”

He was about to step out of the car when I suddenly grabbed onto his arm, my eyes soft.

“No. Market. Please. Just let me prove to you that you'll spend less money.”

He let out an exaggerated sigh.

“Bear it in mind that I'm not listening to your orders, I'm only driving there because I suddenly want to go there now.”

My smile was super wide as warmth washed over me. The local market, yay.
