Julian’s POV

The low hum of my car’s engine faded as I rolled to a stop in front of Roman’s mansion. As I stepped out of the car, Riley’s voice came from the backseat in a playful squeal.

“Uncle Julian! Don’t forget me!”

“Oops.” I grinned, turning around to open the door for her. “I almost forgot. Or maybe, I was thinking of leaving you behind.”

“No, you wouldn’t! You love me!” She shit back with a giggle as she squirmed in her seat, her curly hair bouncing around her small face.

“Of course, I love you, princess.”

Laughing, I scooped her out of her seat with ease and hoisted her into my shoulder as I stride towards the mansion’s double door.

Riley let out a delighted squeal and kicked her feet playfully into the air. “Put me down, Uncle Julian! Put me down!”

“I can’t hear you from all the way down here.” I teased her and we both laughed as I walked past the foyer and stepped into the living room where Sabrina was seated on one of the couches like a queen, wearing a shimmery silk blue robe. One of her legs was propped up while the other one was resting on the cushioned ottoman. A househelp knelt in front of her, carefully applying a glossy red polish onto her toenails.

Even without trying, Sabrina looked gorgeous. Only that I wished her heart was just as beautiful as her face. Unfortunately, it wasn’t. She had a heart as black as charcoal, and sometimes, I found myself wondering what it was taking Roman so long to find how evil Sabrina was.

“Mommy!” Riley ran straight into Sabrina’s arms as soon as I set her down.

Sabrina chuckled lightly, shifting her manicured hands a little away from Riley.

“Careful, honey. You don’t want to ruin my nail polish, do you?”

“No, Mommy.” Riley shifted away a little while Sabrina called out to another househelp.

“Patricia!”

A few seconds later, an older woman, dressed in a househelp uniform emerged from the hallway and hurried to Sabrina.

“Yes, ma’am.” She bowed her head before Sabrina.

“Take Riley upstairs and help her get changed.”

“Alright ma’am.” Patricia nodded obediently and took Riley’s hand gently.

“See you later, Uncle Julian!” Riley waved at me before trotting off with Patricia. With a wave and a small smile, I watched her disappear up the grand staircase.

“Thanks for picking Riley up from school.” Sabrina returned my attention to her as she glanced up from her pedicure, her sharp eyes lingering on mine. “You’re always helpful whenever you’re around.”

“Yeah.” I muttered, already bored with the conversation. “I’ll see you around. I have to attend to something important in my room.”

Then, without waiting for her response, I turned on my heel and headed upstairs. Once I reached my room, I tugged my black T-shrug over my head and tossed it to a nearby chair. Then, I unbuckled my jeans, stepped out of them and tossed it to the chair too.

Left in my briefs, I moved to the wardrobe to pick something else to wear. But I stopped to my feet just as my eyes landed on a small wooden picture frame resting on the nightstand.

Slowly, I reached the nightstand and picked up the picture frame, my thumb brushing lightly over the glass surface. My heart clutched against my chest as I stared at it.

It was a photo that I had taken with Roman a few months before he left home, nine years ago. In the photo, the both of us were standing side by side with wide grins on our faces and Roman’s arm slung over my shoulder. We looked happy. Whole.

But everything had changed now.

After getting involved in the car accident that had caused his memory loss eight years ago, it was almost as though I had lost him with his memories. Like a part of his soul had been ripped apart and lost in that car accident.

No matter how much I tried to reach out to Roman, it was impossible to get a grip of him. He became quieter, colder, and distant. I had tried again, and again, utilizing every strategy I could think of — dry jokes, dinner together, subtle conversations to reconnect again. But it was like talking to a ghost who didn’t know he was dead.

It was as if he had left again. Just in a different way.

I felt a familiar sharp pain in my chest. I would give anything to fix us again. Even though I knew that it was the most impossible thing to do right now.

So much had changed. So much had gone wrong.

The sound of the door creaking open behind me, shattered me from my thoughts. Turning around, I saw that it was Sabrina.

Quickly, I reached for my trousers and began to pull them on.

“You should have knocked…”

But before I could finish my words, she reached for me and suddenly pushed me to the wall, pinning me between the hard wall and her half exposed body. She was still wearing her silky robe but it was loosed open now, revealing her cleavage and lacy panties.

“What do you think you’re doing…” I started again but she brought a finger to my lips, hushing me instantly.

“Shhh.” She whispered, her eyes glued to me. I could see the hunger and desperation heavy in her eyes. “You can drop the act now. We’re all alone and Roman isn’t in the house.”

“Still…” I hissed at her, my eyes darting to the door, slightly worried that someone might walk in on us this instant. I averted my eyes back to her again. “It’s not safe. Not here.”

“Come on, Julian. Don’t be such a killjoy.” She began to tear at my trousers but I stopped her hands quickly.

“We cannot be so careless.” I hissed at her again. Sleeping with my own brother’s wife was one thing, but being stupid enough to allow him to find out that his wife was cheating on him with me was another thing. Even though it was obvious he wasn’t in love with Sabrina, I was certain he would never forgive me.

“Please…” Her eyes were glistening with tears now. Desperate tears. “I need to feel something again. I’ve been sex starved. I need to feel like a woman again. I need to feel your cock inside of me. I want to be fucked, Julian. I deserve to be fucked.”

“I don’t think this is a good idea...”

“Please…” She leaned closer and melted her lips into mine in a hot kiss. As she kissed me, her hand found its way to my trouser again, pulling it down and slipping inside my briefs. She fetched my now hardened cock into hand, giving it light strokes.

A deep moan escaped my throat.

“Fuck me, Julian. Please. I want to feel your cock deep inside me. I want to cum for you.”

My eyes darkened and I pulled my head away slightly to get a better look of the desperacy in her eyes. I smirked in self satisfaction. That was exactly how I loved to see her. Desperate. Hungry. Begging.

Just the same emotions that she had inflicted on the person that mattered most to me three years ago.

This was my payback. All of these. And when the right time comes, I would use her weakness against her and make her pay for everything she had done. It was a promise that I made to myself.

“Beg me again.” I brought my palm to her waist, rubbing up and down her thigh, pushing up her robe and exposing her perfectly molded ass to my eyes.

She brought her lips closer to mine again but I pulled my head away before she could meet my lips. She gulped and locked gaze with me again, a tear rolling down her eyes now.

“Please, Julian. Please, fuck me.”

“Say it again.”

“Fuck me, Julian. Please, fuck me.”

Smirking again, I pushed her to the bed a little too roughly. But she didn’t seem to mind. Her hungry eyes were fixed to my cock as she completely took off her robe and tore off her panties and bra, leaving her body stark naked before my eyes.

“Fine then.” I whispered, joining her on the bed and parting her thighs to get a proper view of her wet, tight, inviting little cunt. “I’ll fuck you like the dirty slut that you are. I’ll fuck you so hard and destroy your cunt, you’d run from me the next time we set eyes on each other.”

SIENNAA sharp pain shot through my head as I slowly opened my eyes. I winced, the pounding in my skull making everything feel blurry at first. It took a moment for my vision to clear.Once I could see properly, I realized I was in what looked like an old, empty warehouse. My brows pulled into a frown as I looked around, confused and still aching. Nothing made sense. Where was I? Why was I here?I tried to move, but my body wouldn’t budge. Panic started to rise in my chest. I looked down, and my heart suddenly stopped momentarily.I was tied to a chair. My breathing quickened as fear wrapped tightly around me. I looked down at the ropes binding my wrists and legs, and a wave of helplessness hit me hard. Just as I started to lose control, flashes of what happened before rushed back to me.Gregory and Rafael. They had caught us… me and Sabrina. They knocked us out with those handkerchiefs soaked with chemicals.Panic turned to dread as I remembered Sabrina. My eyes darted around the ro

CANDICE“You worry too much, Ethan,” I said into the phone as I stepped out of my apartment and locked the door. “I already told you, I’m fine. I just took a few days off because I wasn’t feeling well. I’m going back to work today. How’s Atlanta treating you?”While Ethan went on about how he was doing fine but missed New York, even though he had only been gone two days for a business meeting, my eyes dropped to the floor near my door.A mess of flowers, apology cards, and gift boxes were arranged neatly in a pile on the floor. I didn’t need to guess that they were from Julian. My jaw tightened as fresh anger rushed through me.“I’ll call you back when I get to the office.” I said quickly, cutting Ethan off and hanging up before he could respond.Once the call ended, I kicked the gifts out of the way, stomping on some of them. My heel crushed a bouquet of white roses. A ribbon tore under my foot, and I muttered curses under my breath.“Cheating bastard.”Did he really think I would b

ROMANTHAT SAME DAY“The report was manipulated. Her husband didn’t die. He disappeared the same day her daughter was born.”The alcohol burned down my throat as I swallowed another shot. My mind was far away, stuck on Cross’s words from two days ago.“I think someone is sabotaging the truth and pulling strings behind the scenes, sir.”I poured another shot and drank it, trying to shut out the noise in my head. But the words kept coming back, over and over again. I couldn't shake them off.I was sitting on the small side table near the wine bar in the living room, using the drinks to distract myself. But it wasn’t working. No matter how much I drank, I still couldn’t stop thinking about it.There had been a mistake in Cross’s first investigation. When he told me, I was angry. I had trusted him to get it right. But later, I realized something didn’t add up. Something felt off. Cross was right. Someone was messing with the truth. Hiding things and pulling strings from the shadows. But

SIENNA“Greg… Gregory?”I watched Sabrina as she stared at the man in shock. Her eyes were wide and unfocused, and her mouth hung open like she had just seen a ghost. Her face had lost all color.“You know him?” I asked, even though it was obvious. She had called his name, so she most definitely knew him.It made me wonder whether he was one of her old henchmen? Maybe someone who had once done her dirty work and now turned against her?“Hold on, you two. The party wouldn’t be complete without me,” the second man said, pulling off his mask too. A sly grin appeared on his face.Sabrina’s eyes grew even wider, and her legs gave out. She stumbled back in shock.I looked at the second man closely. There was something familiar about him, but I couldn’t quite place where I had seen him before.“Wh…what…Rafael…” Sabrina stuttered, unable to finish her words. Both men laughed quietly, clearly enjoying the moment.“Oh, Mrs. Montgomery,” the second man—Rafael said with a mocking smile. “I never

SIENNAI looked around nervously as Sabrina’s car drove deeper into the quiet, run-down area. The place was filled with half built buildings, old abandoned houses, and a few empty warehouses. My whole body felt tense, and I couldn’t stop checking our surroundings through the window.Today was the deadline that the anonymous man had set for us to bring the money in exchange for our secret to be sealed away. He had sent the address, and now we were here, trying to find the right warehouse.“Number seven… number seven…” Sabrina muttered under her breath as she drove slowly, her eyes scanning the buildings.“There.” I pointed to a warehouse on the far right, squeezed between two others. The number seven was painted in faded white above it.As we got closer, my heart started beating faster. My mouth felt dry. The more we approached, the more I just wanted this to be over.Sabrina parked a little way from the warehouse. She looked around carefully, making sure no one else was nearby. If she

SIENNATHE NEXT DAYI rang the doorbell to Candice’s apartment and stepped back, waiting. She hadn’t shown up at work today, and I wasn’t surprised. Not after what happened yesterday with Julian and Sabrina. That was why I came straight here after work, to check on her. I knew she wouldn’t be doing okay after all the messy events of yesterday.Honestly, who would be?I waited a bit, then rang the bell again. And again. I was about to press it a fourth time when the door finally opened slowly from the inside.Candice’s blank face came up in front of me. She wasn’t crying, but the dark circles under her eyes said enough. Her hair was messy, like she hadn’t moved from bed all day. Like she had been crying on and off, sleeping in between.Seeing her like this made my chest tighten with anger. How could Julian and Sabrina hurt her like this? Especially Julian. I hoped to confront him when I got back to the mansion from here.“Hey.” She said softly. Her voice was low and dry, as if she hadn

ROMAN“Thank you so much for coming, Mr. Montgomery. It was a pleasure having you here.” One of the summit organizers said, shaking my hand. Another followed, doing the same. After a long and exhausting day, the business summit had finally ended, and I couldn’t wait to leave the building and head home to rest.Soon, we were finally left alone and it was just me and Harper. We walked side by side toward the elevator.“I really hope my mom made one of her usual home cooked dinners,” Harper said with a sigh as we entered the elevator and waited. He rubbed his stomach. “I’m starving.”I glanced at him and shook my head. “You really have no shame. Still a mama’s boy at your big age.”“Proudly,” he replied with a grin, then asked, “Have you heard from Miss Blake? I’ve been trying to reach her, but she’s been busy.”The mention of Sienna made my chest tighten. My heart started to race like it always did when I thought about her. She had been too busy with Ethan Crawford lately to even noti

CANDICEI stood frozen, my heart pounding so fast I could hear it in my ears. It felt like my whole world had just flipped upside down. I couldn’t take my eyes off what I was seeing. Sabrina on top of Julian, both of them lost in their moment, completely unaware that Sienna and I had walked in.I blinked slowly, trying to make sense of it. A part of me had always felt something was off with Julian. I even thought he might be seeing someone else. But never in a million years did I imagine it would be Sabrina.Julian was the first to notice us. His eyes widened in shock when he saw me standing there with Sienna behind me. In an instant, he pushed Sabrina off him, and she fell to the side of the bed. A sharp gasp escaped her lips as she finally noticed us too and she quickly grabbed the blanket and pulled it over herself.“Candice… shit,” Julian muttered, breathing hard as he scrambled to put on his pants under the blanket. Behind me, Sienna gently reached for my hand.“Let’s go, Candi

SIENNA“What the hell…” Candice whispered behind me.I quickly stepped away from her, my eyes wide with tears and my heart pounding so hard I could feel it in my ears. I tried to hide the contents of the package behind my back, even though it was pointless. She had already seen everything.Gone was the happy, smiling Candice from earlier. Now, her face was frozen in shock and confusion.Without saying a word, she stepped closer and took the photos right from my hand before I could stop her.I stood there helpless, frozen, as her eyes scanned through each picture with growing panic. My legs gave way, and I slid down to the floor, crouching against the wall as my whole body started to shake.“What is this, Sienna?” Candice asked in a soft, shaky voice. “What are you hiding from me? What are these pictures?”I opened my mouth to answer, but nothing came out. Just sobs. My chest tightened, and I broke down, crying.I shut my eyes, begging in my heart that this was just a nightmare.
