Arieon watched distastefully as her mother continued to talk about the wedding party they were going to attend the next day.

"Arieon, pay attention child!", Elisa scolded her daughter who was narrowing her eyes at her. With an eye roll, she continued with what she was saying.

"Mother, do I really have to go?", Arieon asked. Elisa glared at her stubborn daughter, "You're going to that wedding no matter what. We need to present ourselves there as a family".

"Dear, take it easy on her", Lucas walked in holding a cup of coffee in his hand.

'Thank you!', Arieon screamed in her head as her mother's shoulders sagged down.

"Has Tiffany sent your dress?", Elisa asked her daughter. She nodded, "I got it this morning".

"You and your sisters are going to the spa later this afternoon", her mother said. With an annoyed sigh, she nodded and stood up to leave.

Eliza watched in frustration as her daughter left the living room.

"She as grown to be a beautiful woman", Lucas said as he sat beside his wife. She nodded in agreement.

"He'll come for her soon", she said. "She has too be prepared", he said. "Don't you think we're being hard on her? I mean we don't allow her to do the same things her sisters do. She's just twenty one", she asked him.

"You remember he said she must be pure", he told her. With a sad sigh, she nodded.

Meanwhile, Arieon was in her room staring at the ceiling with so much frustration that it hurt.

"I always have to attend every party", she mumbled in sadness. She didn't like social events. She was never the type to go out with friends.

"What's up with the pout?", Addison walked in holding a box of macaroons. Alison followed her in and they sat on the bed beside their sister.

"How was your outing?", Arieon asked her sisters. "We wish you could come. The pizza palace did a giveaway. We brought a souvenir", Alison pointed at the box of macaroons with a grin.

"Thanks, guys", Arieon smiled at them. They were the only people she associated with. They were her best friends. Dylan was her best friend but he was always busy so she confided in her sisters.

"What lesson did mom give you today?", Addison asked jokingly. "She was talking about the senator that was going to attend the wedding tomorrow", she answered with a sigh.

Knowing how she felt, Alison pinched her cheek making her tell in pain.

"Why did you so that?", Arieon glared at her. "You were being all sad and mushy", she countered.

They began to bicker while Addison rolled her eyes and began to eat the macaroons.

Even though the three of them were triplets, her being the first born was still more mature than the rest.

Dinner in the De Mevius family was always eventful. Elisa would always surprise her family with unique and delicious dishes.

"Mom, what did you even put in this stuff? It's like you can make cake out of faeces!", Alison moaned as she chewed on her food.

Lucas let out a laugh at his daughter's statement while her sisters rolled their eyes.

Leave it Alison to always say nonsense while eating.

"Thanks a lot sweetie", Elisa chuckled.

"I need to start taking cooking classes", Alison said thoughtfully.

"No thank you, we don't want the house to burn down", Addison protested. "I second that", Arieon agreed.

Alison stuck out her tongue at them and they rolled their eyes again.

"I think Alison was meant to be the last born", Elisa chuckled.

"Exactly!", Addison exclaimed and they all laughed.

After dinner, the triplets helped their mother to clean up while their father went back to his study.

"Girls, we're leaving for the wedding by ten", Elisa informed them as they turned to leave.

They nodded. "Goodnight, mom", they said and left the kitchen.

"Is it too late to pretend to be sick?", Alison said as they climbed the large staircase.

Her sisters chuckled and shook their head. "You should have done that earlier this morning", Arieon told her.

"Whatever, I'm going to be off for the night", Alison yawned as they reached the too of the stairs.

"More like stay up all night chatting with Dylan", Addison teased. Alison's cheeks heated as she shot her sister a death glare while Arieon let out a laugh. "Goodnight", Alison said and turned to walk down the hallway to where are room was.

"Tell Dylan I said hi!", Addison yelled making Alison flip her the bird. Addison turned to her other sister, "Goodnight, lil sis".

"I'm only younger by eleven minutes", she grumbled. Addison chuckled and ruffled her hair before walking towards her room.

Arieon made her way to get room as she felt a wave of tiredness overcome her.

Bored.

That was the only word to describe how the De Mevius triplets were feeling.

They were at the reception of the newly wedded couples.

Sadly, they were not allowed to drink. Their parents knew better than to allow their daughters to get drunk in public.

"We're not ten year olds", Alison grumbled as she crossed her arms across her chest childishly. "Stop being a baby", Addison said.

"Why do guys stare at us like we're food?", Arieon asked with annoyance. Her sisters laughed at how annoyed she was. Unlike her sisters, Arieon didn't really get along with the male population. The only people she got along with was Dylan and her cousins.

There was no doubt that the De Mevius triplets were very beautiful. At every party they attend, they were always the spotlight. Elisa and Lucas were always proud of their children's beauty.

"Six o' clock", Addison's eyes widened as she looked behind Arieon's back. Frowning at her words, Arieon turned back. "Hello beautiful", a blonde guy who looked to be about twenty five said.

There was no denying that he was cute but Arieon was never interested in any relationship. There was a point that her sister thought she was into girls.

"Hey?"

It was more of a question than a reply but the blonde guy didn't catch on.

The way his blue eyes roamed her body made her cringe inwardly at how obvious he was.

"Want to have a drink with me?", He asked.

"No, thank you. My sisters and I were just leaving", she motioned towards her sisters who caught the drift.

"Just one drink won't hurt", he pressed on which successfully irritated her. This guy didn't know when to stop, didn't he?

"I'm not interested!", She glared at him and walked past him with her sisters following behind.

"You shouldn't have been that harsh", Alison tried to reason. Arieon raised a brow at her sister who gave her a knowing look.

"You guys know how I am around guys that I don't know. Especially if they are annoying", she said and they nodded.

"He's cute though", Addison said as they walked towards the table that had varieties of sweets on it. "Cute is just his face. His character says otherwise", Arieon rolled her eyes.

"If we can't have alcohol, at least we can eat sweets", Addison said before taking a huge bite out of a velvet cupcake. She let out a moan and squealed, "This tastes good".

"You'll get fat", Arieon said. She snorted, "Please let me be".

The three ladies began to ship the men and women they saw at the wedding. They were having their little fun until when Arieon's gaze landed on a tall bulky man standing at a far corner.

He was receiving a phone call but he was staring at her. The way his cold black eyes sized her up made her goosebumps rise on her skins.

"Mom just texted. She said the couples want to meet us", Alison said looking at her phone.

"Wipe your mouth" Addison told her.

"Bitch", Alison retorted and then they began to bicker. "Save your bickering for later and let's go", Arieon told them.

He watched as she kept close to her sisters as if to look for safety with them. A smile formed on his lips as he saw how observant she was.

Pure, perfect, clean and beautiful were the words to describe her.

Oh how he wanted nothing more than to taint the precious lady.

Her sisters were her saviors. She didn't even have anything or anyone to be saved from.

She was too pure and naive.

Who was he?

He was the devil.

And she's soon going to be his.

He was the one she needed saving from. He was horrible, wicked, deadly and heartless.
