She was pregnant. Liam still could not believe it. A day had passed since he met Scarlett, and he was still trying to wrap his mind around the fact that she not only quickly moved on from him, but she got pregnant. How did she survive that forest? How did she get to this town? From what he knew, Scarlett had never left their pack her whole life, so how was it possible?

Humans have never trodden that forest because it belongs solely to the werewolf, and they protected the Territories with their life. It marked the boundary they shared with the humans, but they have never crossed it, not even during war.

Was it her father's doing? Did he call people to pick her up? Her father has many contacts in the human world, so it couldn't be that hard. Even if he called a human to help him, none could get into the forest. It was not just because of the eerie feeling the forest gave, it was also because of how dark it was. It was also filled with dangerous wild animals.
