‘’They can’t have found anything about her so soon right? ‘’

Lydia asked

For the past three hours I’ve tried my best to clear her with what exactly was going on after she barged into my office without knocking.

‘’But they wouldn’t be asking for permission into our territory without being on to something either ‘’

Adrian pointed out

Rox’s pack was asking for permission to visit our lands and it makes my blood boil as fuck

‘’And we can’t deny their request either it will raise suspicions ‘’ Jason said

They all turned to me waiting for my decision , I just sigh and turned to Lydia

‘’We can’t just let them come into South America so soon , I still need time with Hazel ‘’

She nods her head in understanding and I continued

‘’As per the rules a pack needs an alpha for an official visit like this and the Rox is dead so we can use that in our favor ‘’

Pausing for a while I thought about the plan I had to stall them, it wasn’t the best but it was the safest for now .

‘’Tell them they are welcomed in the crescent grounds anytime as long as they have an alpha that’s recognized by the Werewolf council ‘’

It was a perfect idea since I also happen to be the head of that council.

Adrian and Jason left to carry out the work and send my message and I was left with Lydia.

‘’So does the new Luna understand the mating concept or do we have to worry about that too ? ‘’

She asked sitting opposite me looking amused

‘’That’s one of the many reasons I have to buy more time ‘’

I answered her

Realizing how stressed out and unhappy I was she got serious and asked again

‘’Where you able to get anything other than her name ? ‘’

I nodded in reply saying

‘’A well thought out story but it was a lie ‘’

She immediately understood since she’s a wolf and knew all about the mating process

‘’I’d lie to you too I was in her position I mean damn she unalived a freaking Alpha and your the Alpha king so you’re not the best option to be truthful to ‘’

Lydia joked getting up and headed for the door but stopped and added

‘’You should go be with her , it’s not a good idea to leave a bunch of pack warriors with an original alpha killer ‘’ .

I ran my hand across my face thinking how right she was . Hazel will probably try to escape again. Without giving it a second thought I got up and rushed to the room I left her earlier.

The wolves that were left to guard her bow slightly immediately they saw me And made way for me to enter . I nodded lightly giving them the signal to go back to their other duties.

‘’Nice room, titanium windows, sounds proof walls I’m guessing it’s yours ?’’

Hazel asked

She was sitting on top of the bed with her legs folded and eyes closed as if she was about to meditate.

‘’Mine is across the hall,Same one you thrashed ‘’ I answered

She opened her eyes and looked up to me

‘’If you know I was lying why did you keep asking ‘’

The little frown on her face made her whole aura more inviting to me , her pleasant scent had started to slowly fill every inch of the room and her brown eyes made me want to hold her down against that bed.

Pushing those thoughts aside I answered her question

‘’Because it’s fun ‘’

She was taken aback by my answer and I smirked at her reaction

‘’I had a couple of things with me I need them back’’

She stated getting up from the bed

‘’If you’re talking about the countless silver knives, wolves bane syringe and mountain ash I got rid of them they’re not allowed near my pack ‘’

I answered her folding my arms as my grin got wider

Hazel pursed her lips as if she was holding back her anger

‘’Did you also get rid of the transmitter ? ‘’

She asked

It was amusing seeing her get pushed to to edge and still holding back

‘’You mean this ? ‘’

I asked her pulling out the little device out of my back pocket

Immediately her eyes landed on it she rushed straight for it but I quickly put it away before she got closer.

‘’Just give it back ‘’ she yelled out like a little girl

Luca hated how agitated she was , he preferred her calm and obedient just like she was in the office earlier.

He scent invaded my senses as she got closer.

‘’Tell me what it is and you can have it ‘’

I said teasing her further

‘’It’s important that all you need to know ‘’

Stretching her hands forward in demand for the device

I’m a swift motion I grabbed her hand and pulled her closer to me .

She froze in my arms as she placed her for head on my chest and said

‘’If you wanna continue what you started earlier you could have just ask ‘’

Her voice was more quiet and sensual as the words left her mouth. She slowly looked up to me .

I could feel Luca already on edge and submitting to her suggestions and so was I .

Raising her chin up with one finger I said

‘’Don’t test me mate ‘’

She locked eyes with me and kept her gaze locked on mine as if she was daring me

‘’ I wouldn’t dare test the Alpha king ‘’

Hazel pointed out but her looks said something completely different as she pressed her body further into mine.

Fuck , she had absolutely no idea what she was doing to me or Luca

‘’Take her ‘’

I heard Luca say from the back of my mind

‘’What , Are you waiting for my consent ? You didn’t ask for it when you marked me so why have second thoughts now ‘’

I felt her hand leave my back pocket as she backed away smirking devilishly

Snapping out of my trance I reached for the transmitter which it tried to get hacked by my tech team but with no success.

It was now glowing red , I angrily turned to her and asked

‘’What did you do ? ‘’

Raising her hands up in surrender while still smirking she said

‘’You said my family will have to come see me them selves but I still had to signal them , it’s a biometric transmitter they’ll find in no time and come get me ‘’

Her smirk got wider and wider as she proudly celebrated her little victory against me .

Nodding my head slowly I approached her and said

‘’ you can signal your little crew of hunters and have them bring as much arsenal as they want but you’re still not stepping out of these walls ‘’

My smile grew wider as her smirk died down slowly

‘’Keeping me here will be your biggest mistake alpha , I promise ‘’

She said in a threatening tone

I laughed at her reaction to my warnings and continued

‘’ you belong here Hazel Mondragon. Start getting use to it ‘’

Grabbing her hand and opening her balled fist I carefully placed the transmitter on her palm leaving the room to go prepare for whatever my mate’s family had install for us.
