Forty: Goodnight
I was shaken, having no idea of what to do. Roy clearly didn't like Sean. So, what would he think after seeing Sean and I together? Also, Roy thought this was the reason I didn't want to be with him?
I leaped from the bench, hurried to him. His jaw was clenched, his eyebrows creased in a really, really hard frown.
"Roy, it's not what you think," I explained. "I swear, this is nothing related to why I wanted us to separate."
He scoffed, his hands in a fist. "Why would you be with your ex? Are you so desperate to have someone close?"
Oh, yes, I was desperate to have someone close. I needed someone to comfort me. But not for a bad reason! I was with Sean because I was only helpless.
"I didn't know you'd be coming." A tear left my eye. "I was so upset, so I needed someone around me."
"You couldn't wait a little longer? You couldn't—"

I wasn't hearing the honking car anymore. Was this death? Was I in heaven? But woah, I was still hearing the barking guys.I pressed my hands against my ears, not wanting to hear anything. This bed was comfy, comfy enough for me to have a great sleep. I rolled on it, pulled the blanket over my naked chest, yawned as well. Wait, why was my chest naked?"Oh my gosh!" I watched as Virg packed her stuff, tears in my eyes. Her mom was here to take her home. And, I didn't know when next I would see her.
