Chapter 17: A Mother’s Intuition

It was a night colder than most nights.

Even within the safety of the lodge a deep chill had seeped into my bones. The werewolf disappeared into the night with Bryan’s body, like a ghost, stuck with more questions than answers. But I didn’t have time to dwell on it. Not when my kids needed me.”
