Janet POV

I and Joe arrived at my parents house to deliver the good news. While I was on a vacation with Asphalt, all his assets were signed over to me. The thought of it was so joyous.

He had handed his property over out of pity. To me Asphalt was a goner and I could kill him off now that I have acquired all his assets.

"Mommy, daddy, I have good news," I hugged them as I ran out of the car that I and Joe had come in.

"What good news my dear? You are looking so pretty this morning. Did the sun shimmer it's rays and you?" My mom praised me without knowing the source of my happiness.

"Something more than the sun happened to me. As you know I just got back from my vacation with Asphalt. Guess what?" I wanted to add a little suspense to make me curious.

"C'mon my darling you know that we are too old to start playing that guessing game," my mom pouted like a kid and I laughed agreeing to tell her Immediately.

"Mom, Dad, I finally have Asphalt's properties in my name!" I jubilated and she
