Chapter 5 Anton Let's get disvorced

Anton looked very stunned and uncharacteristic, raising his wife's suspicions. Anton tried to catch his breath so as not to look like he was lying and he calmed down.

"Wife, why don't you believe me? This is purely me not wanting you to get sick," Anton said.

"I can rest in my private room in the office," Monica retorted.

"All right, but later if you get tired and need to rest I'll take you home," Anton said.

"I'm not that weak, Anton," Monica argued.

Yes, Monica was a stubborn woman, and set in her ways, but all that made her able to build a big company. In fact, Anton probably wouldn't have been as successful if he didn't have his wife. He had many business colleagues, brought expensive cars to the office and also enjoyed wealth that he had never imagined. It was ironic that he was having an affair with the woman who had once thrown him away.
