I threw my car keys on the table and my suit jacket on the vintage couch. I unbuttoned the first three buttons of my shirt and loosened my tie. Grace, his assistant, walked into the living room.

"Go tell my grandfather that I'm here,"

"He knows, he will be here with you shortly." I nodded at her and dismissed her. I plopped myself on one of the chairs with a puff. Grandpa called me out of my very important meeting, he usually never called me in such a rush. I drummed my fingers anxiously, maybe his health was acting up again.

"Mattel," his gruff voice called weakly. I jumped to my feet and went to help him, "don't touch me, I can walk on my own," he said stubbornly. I still held him though to his favorite armchair.

"Did Dr. Liam check on you?"

"He came in this morning," I returned to my seat.
