I stared at Aron. His eyes were fixed on me. I felt something move inside me. His words weighed heavier than the humiliations I had been hearing from his father.

His words sounded like a warning to everyone at the table.

'His woman...' I said to myself.

My cheeks heated as I looked away from him, lowering my head again.

He gestured to me with his hand to sit down. I did what I was told. He defended me against his father.

I had never seen anyone defending a woman to anyone. In fact, when I was in a relationship with Zack, I was the one who used to defend Zack. He never did that to me, even when I was accused of hurting Alora.

"Ridiculous! Are you saying this to your father? Have you forgotten who brought you into this world?" Fred said with an angry tone.

Aron gazed at him and snapped back. "Have you forgotten for whom you are still alive?"

I glanced at Aron's father, Fred. His angry face was slowly calmed by Aron's question.

I wondered what Aron meant by that. Did he save his father f

I knew a few moves and was confident I could defend myself in any fight. Seeing the training would only help me learn new things. So I immediately agreed with Gamma Gael."Alright, I will come."Gamma Gael gave me a nod and then left the dining room. After everyone had gone except for Delta Harry, he offered to take a look around the pack house. We walked out of the dining room. He gave me a tour of the kitchen and other key spaces."Did you know last night I wasted my food? If only I had known the kitchen was so close to the stairs..."He frowned at me. "You did not eat your dinner last night?"I pursed my lips, realizing I had said something unintentionally. "I was not hungry.""I understand that you need time. But you will get used to everything," Delta Harry said.I looked at him and saw him giving me an assuring look. I felt good that someone was there to tell me everything would be okay."Thank you," I said to him.He walked into a large hall while saying,"We are not that easy

I was heading to the dining room with slow steps. I would be lying if I said I did not feel nervous.Since I had accepted my fate, I started to feel shy to face King Aron. Somehow, I felt relieved inside that he had no other woman in his life.'So I am the only one,' I said to myself as if persuading myself to calm down. When I walked into the dining room, my gaze fell on the men at the table.Aron's cousin Jonas was sitting on his chair. The officials were also in their seats. My gaze slightly moved when I noticed an unfamiliar person. He was a middle-aged man. He was in his fifties and appeared quite strong. He had an aura that indicated that he was a powerful man. While I was observing the man, Beta Joy waved his hand at me and said,"Come, have breakfast."I nodded my head, approaching the table. My heart reacted the same way it did last night. My heart pounded like a marathon as I looked at King Aron.He was sitting on the head chair, eating quietly without gazing at me.I notice

The temperature of the room turned cold. I was not sure if it was because one of the windows was open or because of Aron's cold stare and heartless words to me.In the blink of an eye, I had fallen from the edge. To him, I lost everything. With teary eyes, I gazed at the powerful man.My father had already handed me over to the cops without thinking of me. Aron had agreed to save me, which he did. He even rescued me from death.I had to repay him for all the times he had saved me.Since I had nothing to lose, I had to submit myself to him.I lowered my head, trying to persuade myself."It's late. Go back to your room. We are done here," Aron said, reaching out for the glass of wine that had been placed on the center table a while ago.His words came out of his mouth like an order. He was done with the conclusion, so he did not want to hear my opinion anymore.I slowly stood up, feeling my legs scrambled. I gritted my teeth and bowed to him.I could not let out anything as I wiped my t

I immediately raised my head to look at him. A frown appeared between my brows. I felt bad about not being a virgin and giving up my virginity to the wrong man, who mocked my love. However, why did he bring it up as a taunt?Did he care about virginity? Because I could not give it to him.But he said there was nothing to think about. What did he mean to say?Was being his woman only about sexual relationships? As if he could read my eyes, a smirk appeared in the corner of his lips.He moved his hand, which was holding the cigarette. I saw it coming close to my face. I shut my eyes tightly, fearing that the cigarette would touch my face.My eyelashes flickered when his fingers touched my hair strands and curled around his fingers. The cigarette did not touch my face, but my hair only brushed against the cigarette butt.He played with my hair while looking at it. "I gave you a new life. What you did in your pack was an unacceptable crime. Even my doctors could not save that poor William

My eyes flung open in shock. My heart skipped a beat. I froze in my state in disbelief of what I had heard. My cheeks flushed red as I felt them getting heated up. My lips parted in surprise as I let out a murmur in a low voice."Y-Your woman?"He tilted his head, causing his nose to brush against my ear. I slowly blinked my eyes, feeling the touch that made my heartbeat race again. His strong cologne was intoxicating me. His touches were like something my body could not resist. He moved his head and looked into my eyes. I could not maintain eye contact with him. I was feeling shy to lock my gaze with his."What? Are you refusing it?" he asked, furrowing his brows.I slowly lifted my gaze, trying to look at him."I-I—"I was stuttering but stopped by his thumb. My body froze when his thumb swept over my bottom lip."Do you have any other way to accept the reality?"My eyes were half closed, trying to get over his touch. I mustered my courage and asked,"Reality?"Instead of replying t

With each step, I felt heavy inside. I had already learned that he managed to make me his pack member. But what about the crime that I committed? Was it still hanging over my head?I came to a stop in front of the last door. I noticed the door was different from other doors. It had a unique design on it.I took a deep breath and lifted my hand. I knocked on the door and waited outside. My heartbeat started to race like a marathon.A deep voice came from inside the room. "Come in."I swallowed and reached for the doorknob. I opened the door and stepped into the room.Closing the door behind me, I looked at the room.I was shocked. The room was twice as large as the one I had been in all day. It was beyond luxurious. The interior of the room screamed how expensive each piece was.My gaze moved around the room until it landed on a man standing near the king-size bed.'King Aron'My mind kept changing his name as my eyes fixed on him.Under the dim off-white lights, he looked like a Gree

When everyone had left the dining room, I was left alone. I sat there for a long time.I was afraid I had murdered someone. There was guilt inside me, which kept telling me that I had taken someone's life.A tear escaped my eye as I took a deep breath. I wiped my tears and walked out of the dining room, looking around the palace like a pack house.I was completely lost. I walked around the pack house, trying to locate the main door. I wanted to go outside to have some fresh air. However, two maids approached me and said,"You have to stay in your room until Alpha returns."After giving them a nod, I returned to the room where I had woken up with their assistance. In the large bedroom, I felt lonely. I sat down on the bed, leaning against the headboard. I thought about how I had suffered in my old pack.'Is my father trying to locate me? Will Alpha William's people come here and hunt me down again? I thought.Doctor Usha had mentioned it briefly to me. I wanted to speak with King Aron

As soon as I heard Aron's voice, my heart began to pound against my chest. I was immediately taken aback. The sound of his footsteps approaching from behind me caused my body to freeze.I took a deep breath, trying to calm my racing heartbeat. I was embarrassed to think that everyone could hear my heartbeats.Everything King Aron had done for me came to mind. I could not turn my head to look at him. When he walked behind me and grabbed the chair near me, I felt my body become heavier. My eyes widened as I realized I was sitting beside the head chair. How did it slip my mind that the Alpha always sits in the head chair?I swallowed when he sat down in the chair. When he rested his hands on the table, his slender, long fingers caught my attention.I blinked, trying to compose myself. I did not know how I would start my new life here. But this man was the reason I was alive. The sound of a chair moving on the floor was heard in the room as I stood up slowly. I bowed to King Aron and gree
