“Then who is he?”
With a shaky breath, she replied, “Alpha Leonel.”
A silence fell upon the room when they heard it.
“From B-Blood Moon Pack?” Olivia asked.
“Yeah. I don’t think he will let me slip out of his grasp that easily.”
“I have heard he was cursed. He didn’t have a mate for a century and now he found you.”
“His bad luck.” Lucille smiled emptily. “Anyways, we’ll wait and see. It all depends how he’s gonna come for me.” She said as she stood up and left for her room.
She closed the door behind her and emitted a deep sigh. “I was assured that I could never have a mate again, so how did this happen? Why with me?” She hissed, pulling her hair due to frustration.
And out of all people, Him.
Filled with tension, she couldn’t sleep. Even after running away that many times, she got caught in the same cage.
Like a mouse cornered with no hopes of escaping, feeling helpless, she decided to take a run outside to clear her mind and think about what she should do.
To clear her mind, he began to run around her territory. She ran and ran thinking she could be freed at least for once but even if she ran away from the outside monsters, what about the ones that lurk inside her?
“What’s the point of it anymore? What is this all for?” Asking herself, getting deeper into the woods, she looked at the gloomy woods. The murk residing in them made her feel mutual. Staring deep into them, she realized maybe someone is also staring at her mystifying cloud like this, maybe even exploring them.
“The death strategist can’t make schemes to save lives. It can only use its mind to take one but never save one.” Those words of her beloved friend echoed in her ears as she felt a needle prick her heart.
On her way, her Beta mind-linked her,
We have company here. She said,
Who?
Blood Moon Pack. A shiver went down her spine as she rushed towards the place in her human form. She knows he isn’t gonna wait for a second to make her his.
Sweat rolled down her cheeks but she entered her place all high and mighty like always. She spared a glance at her guests and decided to greet them.
Forming a fake smile, she went to them,
“Well, Hello, Alpha Leonel. Quite a surprise I must say.” She greeted him decently. He stood up and offered her his hand. She took it as he kissed the back of her palm slightly. A smirk appeared on his lips when he felt her shudder but her demeanor remained the same; egoistic.
“Hello, Lucille, Nice to meet you and please, call me Leo.” He spoke in his husky voice intending to sway her.
Loving the way her name rolled over her lips. Lucille was also skilled in faking emotions and bewitching. With the alluring smile, she pulled her hand away,
“If I call you Leo then what difference would be present between me and the mutts you sleep with?” The venom laced in her words, still a wide smile was present on her lips, which excited him more.
“Then it seems like my name is made just to be called on your lips.” He tried to seduce her as he leaned in but she turned away saying,
“Kindly wait for me, I’ll be back.”
She stopped in her tracks and turned to her pack, “Girls, make sure to give our guests great hospitality.” And left.
She went to her room and punched the wall causing a crack to appear on it as she crushed under her breath. She knows he will take her with him no matter what.
“Shit!” There’s no way to prevent this.
This point she wishes that she never came here, she thought that she is free now and can roam independently everywhere but who knows if Moon Goddess has this plan for her?
“Like hell I will let him.” She took a quick shower and wore a black ripped jeans and a crop top with it. She went to him and formed her fake smile again,
“Please pardon me for my delay. What brings you here?” She asked innocently as if she’s not aware of the fact.
“I think you know it.” Leonel said, staring deep into her eyes and she felt like she was losing in that unfathomable gaze. Because of the mate-pull.
“It is obvious what could bring me to your sweet shelter apart from my personal hankering.” It was so difficult for her to control her emotions, it has been a while since she has felt those sensations and Leonel was overwhelmed, blended entirely in them after waiting for a century.
“If you think I will go with you then you are wrong. Your idiotic beliefs are not of my concerns.” She said breaking the stare and taking a seat right in front of him.
Even though she is his mate, the fact remains that she is the Alpha here.
“And it would be better for both of us to engrave our separation.” She glanced at the few members of his pack scanning them.
They all seemed like gentlemen, they didn't seem like some mad dogs at all.
“Might I know the reason?” His heavenly voice came. She knows persuasion is his speciality but coldness is also her speciality and it is not easy to melt.
“I have my own pack and I have no intentions of becoming a luna. My responsibilities are linked to my own priorities which I cannot allow a second person to dominate.” She responded, giving him a cold look. But her words aren’t to his liking.
“You see, me and my pack have waited for our luna for almost a century and there’s no way we are letting go of her. Consider our yearning, my incompleteness as we.” He said dead serious as her heart skipped a beat.
That’s why she hated mating these stupid feelings always come on your way. She narrowed her eyes at him in anger.
“I certainly don’t care.”
Alpha Leonel leaned on the sofa as his previous amusement came back and he said with a smirk,
“Of course, you would be our Female Alpha. We can agree on mutual terms.”
“No, thank you.” She said as she stood up and gave him a last look of hatred which made his chest tighten.
He died to meet his mate and now she is rejecting him at first sight, like hell he’ll accept it.
“I, Alpha Lucille Dayle, rejects Alpha Leonel Alvarado as-”
“I dare you to complete your sentence Lucille.” Leonel raised his voice as he stood up.
Pulled her by the arm and pushed her down on the couch, putting his knee between her legs, touching her delicate skin and grabbing her neck with another hand.
“Don’t speak another word. You have no idea what I am capable of.”
His action aroused tension and everyone got in a fighting stance, ready to turn her home into a pile of corpses.
“Don’t you dare.” He scowled, removing his hand from her neck, giving her a glare to which she glared back in return.
“I will never be yours.” She spat, pushing him away. She has no intentions of subjugating herself to him.
“I don’t fear you.” She opened her mouth to complete her sentence but he came near her and grabbed her shirt, looking at her with his piercing gaze and moved close to her and whispered on her cheek without breaking the stare of her icy gaze,
“If you reject me. I won’t hesitate to turn this sweet home of yours into a bath of blood and I’m gonna make sure that I take you back with me to make you my slave
and use you over and over again.” His threats were real. His every word lingers with seriousness. She knew if she completed her sentence, he wouldn't hesitate to do it. “Do you think I will remain silent and accept rejection after waiting for a mate for a damn century?” He snarled, losing his posture. Never mind her, but her pack can never survive a war against him.
“You know I have both an army and territory advantage. Your strategies aren’t gonna have any affect on me,” He pulled away, giving her a dare to complete her sentence.
After a devilishly long time, she felt hopeless. She stopped as if nothing could save her from this ordeal.
“Asshole, You think you can force me?! Do you think you can attach strings to me?!” Lucille would never step down.
“Don’t forget, baby who rules Tainted Graves. I can annihilate your whole pack.” He warned, the intensity of his gaze crushed her under his absolute presence. She grit her teeth as she turned away feeling utterly defeated; too much to her dismay,
“I will never love you. I will ruin your whole life, you will regret being my mate.” She told him the upcoming events, giving him a last look of detest.
Walking away he grabbed her neck, moved close, pressing his chest against her back, chilling her bones with desire.
“Don’t worry, I’ll make you...” He said as he kissed her neck, sparks traveled through her core as her blood rushed, increasing her heartbeat.
She tried to push him away but he held her arm, nuzzling her neck, “I’ll wait for the moment when you’ll beg me to take you to the deepest depth of pleasure.”
Heavy rain poured down, drenching the couple who were walking down with wide grins spread upon their lips, mesmerizing the moment. They walked down the jungle, fingers entwined with the other’s, loving the moment where his hands were in hers, lost in the person beside him. The person he loves dearly whose blood is soon going to stain his heart and soul. But, they smiled, living into the moment. “Where are we going?” Lucille asked. “I wanted to show you something.” Leonel replied, kissing her cheeks as they walked. “We are going to Raymeyer.” She said, recognizing the way. “No, we are there.” She muttered, her smile fading. “You should know Raymeyer was based upon stealing other people's land.” He told her. She hummed, looking around the place which is still the same but now no longer ruled by cruel wolves. “There we are.” They stopped in the middle of nowhere. She smiled, looking around, “There used to be my home.” He told her, tracing his fingers on her palm, curling h
She looked down, “They threatened to kill me if Mama didn’t agree to this.” She mumbled sadly and clinging onto him. “That’s why please, Papa, take us away.” She said, eyes tearing up. His gaze softened, mentally cursing himself for even doubting just a kid who was trying to find redemption. “I will.” He smiled, taking her hand as they walked away. He didn’t think more about it as Wendy gave him a logical explanation for every skeptic and he couldn’t help but to trust her words. When the Mansion came into view, Wendy said. “Its boundary is concealed with silver so on one could trespass.” “I see.” He hummed and they walked closer as Wendy ran to Lucille who was sitting on the stairs of the entrance, humming to herself. Wendy came closer, taking off Ravel’s shirt and throwing it away. “Tsk, stinky.” Speaking nonchalantly. “My work here is done.” She said and went inside to treat her wounds she gave to herself and clean herself. Lucille smiled and nodded as Ravel came, grow
At the western side when the three other packs entered, they found it empty. “Just like they said, Alpha. It’s empty.” The three packs were supposed to come together but Lucille an old acquaintance of hers to arouse suspicion in them that Jared and Rogues are using them and going to kill them after the war. If they don’t believe it, they can come from the Western side and shall find on one there as they were supposed to be dead. She even kidnapped a few members of their pack to make this assumption true. They were coming from the western side. Carl was right beneath them, sensing their movement, Stella was also hidden watching their fear increasing with each passing second. They came and were told their member’s bodies were dismanded here and there. A lethal lull spread in the air as they began to walk forward and found the bodies of their dead members, “It was true, they were plotting us!” “Those bastards!” “We are not going to let them win!” They snarled and ran in the
Normal POV “It is going to be our greatest war but that doesn’t mean victory is beyond our snatch, we will give our all to show everyone that the name which rules Tainted Graves is Blood Moon.” “Together, on a pershied path, we shall move forward!” Leonel was giving his speech to motivate everyone before starting their war. He was standing right in front, Lucille a few steps back and the leaders in line except Carl who was at his spot from the very start. For the last week and when he spotted the enemy, the order discharged to gather and get ready for their war, “You know the most difficult phase would start after this war, I am honestly not even sure that I could survive or not after killing my own mate but-” “-Right here, at this moment, I can’t disregard the strength she provided me. We will make her last war glorious, we will make the last moment memorable. We will show them what we are made of! Are you guys with me!?” He shouted, “Yeah!!” Everyone shouted, cheered, bursting
“First let’s discuss the main force and then come to our tricks and upper hands.” I said, “Okay.” “First, the main force would lead them from head on with the fifty percent of our forces being with Leonel, they would enter from the eastern side.” “But, the easiest way to enter is by the Northern side.” “Exactly. There is Jared’s best force, Leonel is going to take him on. Daniel would be with Leonel but the time when they become visible” “He is going to part and lead a certain part of them to the forest which was going to be set with traps.” I explained to him, “And half of our omegas to take care of the survivors would be there as well.” “Daniel, your team should be swift and after taking them on, you shall go to your original point, the northern side- There will be the weakest.” “What? Weakest?” He interrupted but I put my index finger in the air and continued. “After cleaning the northern post, You will regroup with Leonel. This would serve as a backup and overwhelm the
The next day sunlight penetrated through the window and fell on my face, waking me up from my peaceful slumber. I woke up after living the most explicitly euphoric night of my life where he showered me with the pleasure and affection my soul yearned for. Showing me a mere show of gratification and I was immersed in the exhilaration entirely. Not wanting to get out of that world of smiles. This was the most lull-inducing intercourse I have ever had, no force, no repulsion. Only ecstasy and his endearment for whether I am comfortable with him or not. “Hey..” A deep yet loving voice reached my ears, smiling. I stretched my arms and turned to him. “How are you?” He asked sweetly, removing the hairs on my face behind. I smiled, “Great.” He tittered and leaned down, brushing his nose against mine. I closed my eyes, relaxed into the moment where he was mine. “That’s good, love because today is going to be stressful.” He said as I frowned. “Don’t spoil my mood.” I mumbled,
After he left, I closed my eyes, exhaling deeply, moving back as my back hit his chest, holding my shoulder supportively, rubbing circles with his thumb to soothe me down. Lowering my head in shame, I murmured. “Thank you for sticking to my side.” And went back to the mansion, not wanting to face anyone who is still with me after what happened. “I was always there you never noticed before.” “I know, it’s my fault.” I rush to my room, not wanting to see anyone. I began to pace around the room, rubbing my cold hands together in disquiet until a strong addictive scent reached my nostril. Sensing Leonel’s presence behind me, my lips can’t pursue a single sound, affixing my eyes on the ground. “Oh, there you are.” I remained motionless when his one hand snaked around my waist, pulling me closer while his other hand took a strand of my hair in his hands. “Why are you running away, Lucille?” He asked compassionately. “What do you seek when I am with you?” “I am scared…” I
“Alpha… Alpha Jared is here… with Ravel…” Daniel informed us, My grip on Leonel tightened in tension as he noticed the fright coming to my face. I looked down, not knowing what to do or say. “I see we are coming.” Daniel nodded and moved away, leaving us alone for a moment after sensing the awkwards dispersed in the air because of me, “Are you alright?” He asked softly, cupping my cheeks. “You are not angry.. With me?” I asked, looking down, biting my lips in nervousness. “Don’t you want to hit me? To punish me for what I did?” I asked tensed but he only lifted my chin, boring his tender gaze intmore mine. “I have already announced your punitive. Besides,” He moved closer, whispering in my ears, “I don’t want to waste my time with you.” He smiled and moved back, holding my hands tightly, “We can do this. Be yourself.” he assured me. “I don't think I could do it anymore.” I confessed. “You can, I believe in you. Show them.” He cheered me up, holding my hands tight
Lucille Leonel’s everlasting display of affection made me feel so concentrated and depraved to think how wrong I was about him. What have I done? How badly I misjudged him? And now when I want to redeem things, I have already lost what I began to cherish more than I could imagine. Miraculously he let both me and Wendy live and even asked to be like mates should be. I guess he wanted to treasure what so little has been left with me alongside smiling and enthralling memories. We went out to hunt, he needed to satisfy his hunger for blood. After it, I helped him clean up and now he was leaning on a tree as my head was resting on his lap, one hand in mine. “Leonel..” “Hmm?” He hummed without opening his eyes. “No one has ever held my hand protectively.” I told him softly. From time to time I told him about the things he made me feel, about the warmth deprived from me by him. “And now, I am not leaving it.” He smiled, opening his eyes and leaning down to my face, brush
