My jaw dropped, and my heart thumped fast under my chest.

How did Lucien find out?

I can’t tell him. What if he starts following me around or stops me from attending the charity events?

My eyes rolled as I gulped hard. I poked my fingers at his chest. “Get the hell off me!” I snarled with a furrowed brow.

I tried to push him off with the whole of my strength, but his hands were as hard as rock. They didn't budge, no matter how hard I tried.

His gaze was fierce and burning like a flame. The emotions in his eyes were inexplicable.

His stare had a touch on me, and that irked me.

I hated that I was angry at him, yet I was feeling turned on by his mere touch.
