I sprinted into the palace, frantically searching the usual places. When I turned to the long open corridoor, he appeared at the end of the corridoor clearly having been running too.

We both looked at eachother, full of emotions and unsaid feelings. I started towards him, him towards me. As we met we embraced, our lips colliding in a burst of passion.

"Grey" I muttered into the kiss

He pulled back just enough to look into my eyes, they'd softened instantly. "do you feel it too" he whispered.

I nodded, "I rejected Alex... and as soon as he left... it... happened"

He kissed me again.

"the necklace... it's my mothers" I said between kisses.

"I don't care" he growled, pulling me closer.

It felt so different. My whole heart felt healed, healed from all of the hurt... all of the pain. Being near him was intoxicating. His scent, his touch.

Moments after he dropped to his knee, before looking up at me softly "marry me" he spoke.
