Misha

“It took me three hundred years to find you, my Queen,” Damon said longingly. I hum my uneasiness. As if he can sense my apprehension, he says, “Our only recent meeting doesn't matter.”

“It does matter. I felt a spark before with Jack but it faded. How is this different?”

Confidently, Damon looks into my eyes, “This won't fade.”

“How can you be so sure?”

Demetri smiles as he chuckles softly, “When you know, you know. It doesn't fade, and the connection grows as time passes. I can feel my wife's emotions even though she's back home. Tell me, did you have any odd dreams or that recurring one of your parents' deaths?”

“How did you know that I did, in the past, but not last night?”

Demetri smirks, “I'm the Devil, Misha.”

“Shit, sorry!” I blush.

He chuckles loudly, “None needed. But please answer.”

“I had quite the opposite dream,” I mumble as my cheeks redden.

He smirks, “And why do you think that is?”

“I don't know.”

Demetri looks from me to the table, “But I think you do. Look down.”

I do, and Damon is lightly caressing circles on my palm. I just feel comfort and peace. A peace that I've never known. “Oh!” I gasp because I feel the electricity too. But this can't be real, can it? “But why me?”

Damon smiles, “It's fate, Misha.”

“Do I have to die or something? Because nothing is worth death.”

Demetri shakes his head no, “It's not like those movies, Misha. We won't own your soul. You'll understand more when you come with us. You'll get powers as will Ana.”

“What?!?!!” I am so confused.

Damon explains, “I'm the Prince of Hell, Misha, and you are my queen in every way. You're not arm candy or a slave. You are my equal, so of course you'll get powers, more than you already naturally possess.”

“I'm human. I don't have powers!”

Ana sighs, “You're not human, just like I'm not, and yes, you have powers.”

“No!” Then all of the lights went out, and they laughed.

“Fucking told you!” Ana exclaims.

Damon

I love the dynamic between my Misha and Ana. It's pure unfiltered honesty and unconditional love. It's extremely rare in this world or any for that matter. Since the lights went out, maybe

Misha will accept the truth.

“What the hell?” she asks in disbelief.

Ana looks into her eyes, “I have told you before that freaky shit happens.”

Misha shakes her head, “No, the power just went out.”

Ana sighs, “So just another extreme coincidence then.” Misha nodded. “No! Come here!” Ana grabs Misha and goes over to the window. “Look!”

Misha says, “The whole neighborhood has lights.”

Ana replies bluntly, “Yep. Now just watch!” She unplugs the lamp goes across the room and plugs it in. She turns it on. “Let there be light!”

Misha shrugs, “So, I turned the lights off.”

My father shakes his head, “No, Misha, it's more than that. At that moment, you didn't want to be seen, did you?”

“No, I wanted it all to go away,” she admits, and it saddens me a bit. I don't ever want my Queen away from me.

“Well, it sort of did. You put us all in the dark, but we demons have perfect vision in total blackness. Which you wouldn't have known,” my father explains to her.

  • Christmas In Hell   Wedding Day

DamonThe other Fates learned of what happened to their sister, thankfully, they weren't upset at us for ending their sibling. Turns out that they always hated violence and killing while Atropos relished it. The hall is decorated with all of Misha’s favorite flowers. I tried to arrange as much as I could because I am the reason it needed to happen on Christmas. I want the destiny that my mother saw and for that to happen, Misha and I need to be married today. I stand at the altar more nervous than I have ever been. Today Misha becomes mine and me hers. Our eternity starts now!As I stand facing the altar in the grand hall awaiting my bride, I relive every moment that I have spent with Misha. My parents and Justin are beside me as the music starts and the doors open."Family Portrait" by Pink starts to play. I look at my mother who is wearing a black lace sequined dress that Misha picked out for her. She is already starting to cry, but my father looks like he wants to take her here and

  • Christmas In Hell   Fate

DamonDamnit! Fucking Atropos! My waist is encircled with a whip as I'm pulled from Misha's grasp.I try to free myself but I can't. I can barely move.Atropos sneers, “The Threads of Fate, Damon. You are powerless and can't escape.”My family tries to rush forward but is stopped by the barrier. Misha yells, “You are a soon-to-be-extinct bitch!” Misha's eyes take on a fiery glow.“Don't even think about using your powers,” Atropos says as she takes out her scissors.“One move and I will end him.”Telepathically, I tell Misha that she knows what she must do. I watch the fire ignite further in her eyes. Misha linked to Ana as I asked through our link. Thankfully, it helped Ana get through the barrier and she now stands beside Misha. She sensed that Misha needed her, that I needed her which allowed her to use her powers.“How? Nevermind as it won't matter soon,” Atropos says as she takes her scissors and stabs me with them.“You're right, it won't matter soon!” Misha said as the scissors

  • Christmas In Hell   Time

DamonI am still kissing my soon-to-be wife like I would die without her. We are oblivious as to what goes on around us.“Wow!” my mother exclaims.Ana asks, “Is this normal?”“No, but it's beautiful,” Derek says.We finally pull away and just stare into each other’s eyes. Ana says, “Umm guys you need to see this.” We turn to look at them. Everything is brimming with life or glowing. Doves are flying overhead. Butterflies are dancing around us. Flowers are blooming all over. But the most striking is a shimmering pool that surrounds Misha and me as we stand on its glimmering surface.“Holy shit!” Misha exclaims. She blushes as she cussed. She is so damn adorable. “How?”I cup her face. “You. All of this is your soul Misha and how it reacts to mine.” I hold out my other hand and a dove lands on it. I move it close to her face. “This is us. This is the life we just created.”She pets it and it coos but then it turns into a Phoenix. “Umm.” I smile as the Phoenix takes off and leaves strea

I'm gaining a daughter and grandchildren. But so very much more.” She takes Misha's left hand and raises it up. “The lost ring of life is lost no more.”“It's impossible.”“Yet, here it is. Son, your bride is a descendant of the Creators. She has to be,” my mother says.“I thought only one God created everything?” Misha asks.“No, there were two. A man and a woman but equal parts light and dark. They made the balance and hoped their creations would keep it,” my mother explains.“You see we've tried but so much has been lost,” Derek says.“Our family is one of the last few that try to uphold the balance,” my father adds.Derek looks at his son, “It is why angels are forbidden to consort with h
