Damon

After talking with Ana, I decided to explore their place. I see photos of their exploits together.

It's quite entertaining. You can visibly see the love between them. They are each other's chosen family, only a fool would try to separate them. I never really had a friend like that. They always hung around me because of who my father was. Justin is the closest thing I have to a friend, and well, he doesn't have many either for the same reason. I know he probably thinks that I compelled Ana to go find him, but I didn't. That was all Ana. But he'll find that out once he talks to her. Sure, I could try to compel that woman, but it'd be a struggle. She has a mind all her own and a fierce sense of loyalty. She kinda reminds me of myself.

After tonight, I consider her a friend. There was an ease to our conversation that you can't force.

She's part of the path that the Moirai saw for me, I'm sure of it. Then there's Misha. I'd so love to know what she's dreaming of and maybe even join her in that dream, but I don't dare. I can't risk her rejecting me because of my curiosity to know her completely. I've never met a hybrid like her on Earth. I wonder if my father has. I could summon him. After all, I put up the wards, which means that my magic will work on both sides of it. So, I summon my father, Demetri The Devil, after I put some coffee and a breakfast casserole into the oven. These ladies will need real fuel after last night and for our talk ahead.

“Son. It must be important,” he says.

“It is,” I say as I show him their picture.”

“Which one?” he asks.

“The redhead is Ana, and she's funny as shit too.”

He looks at the picture closely, “She looks familiar.” I tell him that she is a halfling. “I'd like to meet her.”

“You will. I've already told her everything.”

“How long have you known them?” he asks.

“Met them both just this evening.”

He nods, “Moirai.”

“Yes. The blonde is Misha,” I say fondly as I get caught up looking at her picture.

My father puts his hand on my shoulder and chuckles, “She's your Queen.”

“Yes, and she's a true hybrid.”

My father smiles, “Your mother will be pleased, but hybrid? Are you sure? I'll have to see for myself, though.”

Ana comes in in her pajamas, “I thought I smelled coffee and food. I knew I heard voices.”

“You weren't kidding about needing a few hours.”

Ana shrugs, “No I wasn't. Insomnia is a bitch!” She looks at my father and asks, “He's a demon too right?”

My father laughs and looks at me as he smiles, “She's a keeper. Absolutely no filter!”

“Ana, this is my father.”

Ana gasps, “The Devil!”

My father grins, “One of many names, you may call me Demetri,” he says as he extended his hand to shake hers. Then he cocked his head, “I'll be damned!”

She laughs, “Aren't you supposed to be already?”

I can't help but laugh at the situation because Ana is standing before the Devil himself, joking with him. “You are both going to need to sit,” he said firmly.

We stop laughing and look at him. Ana asks, “Is this because of that angel?”

“I haven't told him about Justin yet.”

Demetri gasps, “Justin's here?”

“He was at dinner. He's dated Misha since October. We caught him fucking our waitress,” she says.

Demetri responds, “Well, I'll take care of him in a bit after I have a word with my brother. But first this, Ana, what do you think of Damon and all of this?”

Ana looks at me before she settles her gaze on him, “Well, I never fit in and now I know why. Damon gets me and I think he'd be good for Misha too. She's had a shitty life. Made even shittier choices in guys. Jack was the worst. Justin never hit her like Jack, but he didn't focus on her either. His eyes always wandered, but Misha never noticed, but I did. So l always made myself present.” I chuckled as she continued, “He doesn't like me much and I don't care.

As for all of this, I'm ready to no longer be Earthbound as long as Misha is okay with it.

She's all that I have.”

My father looks between us and I stare at him. “Well, that's about to change if you'll allow it.

Do you want to know about your parents, Ana?”

Ana says, “Yes, Damon said he'd help last night.”

My father chuckles, “Did he now? This goes back a bit. You're what, 26?” She nodded yes to his question before he continued, “In this life. You probably won't remember your others because when your soul gets a new body it resets. Once you embrace the demon in you, your soul will stay in that body. You are a bit younger than Damon. Immortals love sex. Sometimes we come to Earth for a few days of fun and then return, unless we are here to find a mate or cheat like Justin. Early in my marriage when Damon was little, my wife and I both ventured to Earth for such fun. We took a liking to a very beautiful and feisty redhead. Her name was Vivian and we had the time of our lives. She knew we couldn't stay, as we were clear from the beginning. We hoped to visit her again too. Years passed before we got back to Earth. We searched for her but never found her.” He takes her hand and mine.

We see Vivian in a casket and a toddler Ana crying as a nun holds her. “That's your memory, Ana. Vivian was your mother and I'm your father.”

“I'm a fucking princess!” Ana squeals.

We all bust out laughing as my Queen entered, “Mmm, food.” She throws her phone at Ana, “Do something about that!”

Ana looks through it, “There's like eighty texts and twenty calls from Justin. What the serious fuck!”

Misha sighs, “He must think I'm dumb or something. He can't say it wasn't him. I know exactly what we saw.”

She makes her coffee with a ton of cream and sugar. I look at Ana and she shrugs, “Yeah, she's the opposite of us.”

Misha walks over to us as she sips her sugar-flavored coffee, “Sorry, I needed coffee.

I'm Misha. You must've brought the food I smell. Thank you.”She extended her hand to my father. He shook it.

“Demetri, a pleasure to meet you.” He looks at me and smirks, “But I didn't bring the food.”

“You order in, Ana?” Misha asks.

She laughs, “Fuck no!”

“I cooked, Misha.”

Misha gasps, “No fucking way!” We laugh and she blushes. “It smells so good.”

“Trust me it will be.”

Then her phone rings. “Fucking Justin again!” Ana exclaims.

Demetri says, “Here, let me.”

Ana replies, “Oh, that'll be good. Put it on speaker!”

—The Call—-

Justin: Misha, it's about time.

Demetri: Try again.

Justin: Damon, what the fuck!

Demetri: Not Damon.

Ana: Damon's here, but you're not talking to him.

Justin: Well, I know a witch like you doesn't have a boyfriend, and Damon has no friends.

Misha: You're wrong there, asshole.

Justin: They've brainwashed you.

Ana: No such thing, angel. My thoughts are all my own, just as Misha's are all hers.

You fucked over the wrong bitches!

Misha: Nothing you can say can change what we saw.

Demetri: Not to mention I'm pretty sure your father isn't aware of your transgressions.

Justin: Fuck. You called your damn father, man!

Me: Not to deal with you. I had a question about a friend.

Ana: And he more than answered. So, cuz, stay the fuck away from Misha. She's moved on to way better!

Misha: Ana!

Ana: I'll explain in a bit, sis.

Misha: I'm seriously confused, but Justin lose my number, and that is one thing I'm not confused about. Everything I said and did last night, I meant.

I look at her and raise my eyebrow. She blushes.

Ana: Well, we will talk about that too, sis.

Misha: Umm.

Demetri: So, as you can tell, your fling is done, Justin. You'll find your woman during Lent just as predicted. It would've never worked anyway, and you know that.

Ana: If not, I'm not opposed to beating it into him.

I chuckled.

Me: Make sure it's harder than with a rolling pin.

Ana: Oh, brother it will be.

Justin: Oh, hell no!

Me: Oh, yes, and how sweet it is!

Demetri: See you at the family dinner, Justin.

Justin: Damon why...just why?

Me: Don't blame me. Take it up with the Moirai, but I couldn't be happier. Instead of finding one amazing woman, I found two tremendously entertaining and beautiful ones.

Justin: This is still fucked up!

Me: Nah, it's fate.

Demetri: I suggest you go talk with your father before I do. As above, so below, and you best remember that!

Justin: Ugh! Sorry, Misha, I should've told you that I don't do relationships.

Misha: Yeah, you fucking should've. It would've saved us both a few months' time.

Ana: And don't think I'll let you keep playing women!

I just run my hand over my face and look between the women. Oh, this next conversation is going to be intense.

Justin: Fine, bye ladies. Bye, uncle and fucker!

——End call——

I chuckled because I enjoy pissing Justin off. My father says, “Typical Justin.”

Ana nods, “I always suspected.”

My Queen glares at me, “You lied!”

“He was the one who played like he didn't know me. I just went with it. Sorry for that, but would you both have believed me?”

Misha says, “He is your cousin and you look and act nothing alike!”

“So, see, you wouldn't have.”

Misha sighs, “Maybe not, but I'd have liked to know.”

“Well, you sort of passed out before he told me,” Ana tells Misha.

Misha blushes, “Oh, yeah.”

Ana says, “I know that you meant what you said too.” Misha looks away. “Girl, stop denying what we all see. You said it yourself. You never had the spark, and then you stared right at my brother.”

Misha's jaw drops, “Brother?”

Ana pats a seat beside her, “Come sit.”

“I'll get the food. You're gonna need it!”

  • Christmas In Hell   Wedding Day

DamonThe other Fates learned of what happened to their sister, thankfully, they weren't upset at us for ending their sibling. Turns out that they always hated violence and killing while Atropos relished it. The hall is decorated with all of Misha’s favorite flowers. I tried to arrange as much as I could because I am the reason it needed to happen on Christmas. I want the destiny that my mother saw and for that to happen, Misha and I need to be married today. I stand at the altar more nervous than I have ever been. Today Misha becomes mine and me hers. Our eternity starts now!As I stand facing the altar in the grand hall awaiting my bride, I relive every moment that I have spent with Misha. My parents and Justin are beside me as the music starts and the doors open."Family Portrait" by Pink starts to play. I look at my mother who is wearing a black lace sequined dress that Misha picked out for her. She is already starting to cry, but my father looks like he wants to take her here and

DamonDamnit! Fucking Atropos! My waist is encircled with a whip as I'm pulled from Misha's grasp.I try to free myself but I can't. I can barely move.Atropos sneers, “The Threads of Fate, Damon. You are powerless and can't escape.”My family tries to rush forward but is stopped by the barrier. Misha yells, “You are a soon-to-be-extinct bitch!” Misha's eyes take on a fiery glow.“Don't even think about using your powers,” Atropos says as she takes out her scissors.“One move and I will end him.”Telepathically, I tell Misha that she knows what she must do. I watch the fire ignite further in her eyes. Misha linked to Ana as I asked through our link. Thankfully, it helped Ana get through the barrier and she now stands beside Misha. She sensed that Misha needed her, that I needed her which allowed her to use her powers.“How? Nevermind as it won't matter soon,” Atropos says as she takes her scissors and stabs me with them.“You're right, it won't matter soon!” Misha said as the scissors

  • Christmas In Hell   Time

DamonI am still kissing my soon-to-be wife like I would die without her. We are oblivious as to what goes on around us.“Wow!” my mother exclaims.Ana asks, “Is this normal?”“No, but it's beautiful,” Derek says.We finally pull away and just stare into each other’s eyes. Ana says, “Umm guys you need to see this.” We turn to look at them. Everything is brimming with life or glowing. Doves are flying overhead. Butterflies are dancing around us. Flowers are blooming all over. But the most striking is a shimmering pool that surrounds Misha and me as we stand on its glimmering surface.“Holy shit!” Misha exclaims. She blushes as she cussed. She is so damn adorable. “How?”I cup her face. “You. All of this is your soul Misha and how it reacts to mine.” I hold out my other hand and a dove lands on it. I move it close to her face. “This is us. This is the life we just created.”She pets it and it coos but then it turns into a Phoenix. “Umm.” I smile as the Phoenix takes off and leaves strea

I'm gaining a daughter and grandchildren. But so very much more.” She takes Misha's left hand and raises it up. “The lost ring of life is lost no more.”“It's impossible.”“Yet, here it is. Son, your bride is a descendant of the Creators. She has to be,” my mother says.“I thought only one God created everything?” Misha asks.“No, there were two. A man and a woman but equal parts light and dark. They made the balance and hoped their creations would keep it,” my mother explains.“You see we've tried but so much has been lost,” Derek says.“Our family is one of the last few that try to uphold the balance,” my father adds.Derek looks at his son, “It is why angels are forbidden to consort with h
