“Oh shit!” he exclaimed after checking his pockets for his phone without finding it. He then remembered he had left it on the table in his office before stepping out. He sighed in desperation before shifting to another side of the wall. His gun was held firmly in his hands as he listened for any sound to alert him of the attacker.

“One… two… three” He made a mental note, counting as he listened to the footsteps. There were three distinct footsteps, meaning his attackers were three or even more. He looked at the gun in his hand. It contained only five rounds of bullets, meaning he'd have to give each person a bullet each. The footsteps got closer and he braced himself up. He rammed his fists into the first attacker, making him yell out quickly as he staggered backward. The action had been sudden and unexpected, making the attacker's gun fly out of his hands.

The second attacker fired a bullet quickly and he ducked, making the bullet hit the wall behind him. The entire up floor was sound
