62. Angelo's burial

“News just got out. Giovanni is laying his brother to the earth today.” One of Romano's men stormed into his office. He was working closely with the consigliere and after the death of the consigliere, he had taken over his duties. He walked over to the large wooden table made of refined mahogany, behind which Romano sat. “If we strike today, it'll be the best time to get him,” he added, looking up at Romano.

“No. Let's respect the dead today. No attack.” Romano replied, closing the lid of the pen he used. Attacking Giovanni on the day he planned on burying his brother was one great, but crazy idea. He had respect for Angelo and wouldn't want to disrupt his last day.

“But-” the man tried to argue, but he raised his hand, stopping his argument mid way.

“And who said Giovanni and his men aren't armed? I'm pretty sure there's an army of men lurking around just to catch a glance of his face, even metres away. We have to let this one slide.” Romano stated, calmly, making him see reason with
