CHAPTER 16

He looked like he was searching for someone. The moment his eyes locked onto mine, he looked at the guy standing next to me and then back at me. I watched as he made his way over to me with an innocent smile on his face.

Kennidy was completely awestruck. When he turned around for a second, I watched as she fixed her thick curls to frame her face then as she puckered her full lips to fix her lip gloss. He turned back around to look at me with confusion taking over his features. "Where's locker 243?"

I pointed to the locker right beside mine. He didn't think I noticed the smirk on his face as he put in the combination. Let me rephrase that, as he tried to put in the combination. Snatching the paper from his hand, I did it for him.

"Thank you, baby," he winks before opening it up and placing everything he had in his hands inside of it. We should be clearing out our lockers, yet they gave him essentials as if it were the first day of school.

"Alex, these are my friends; Kennidy, Julissa
