Tex’s POV

Theo took a few slow steps forward, his boots crunching faintly on the damp, moss-lined stone floor. The sound echoed like a metronome in the dead space of the cell, each step deliberate, each second stretched thin with menace. He didn’t rush. He never did. That was the worst part about Theo how time seemed to obey him, not the other way around. He moved like it bent for his pleasure, like he was the master of it all, and pain was just another instrument he played like a maestro.

I lifted my chin, slow and shaking. It took every scrap of strength I had left just to hold my head up, my muscles taut with exhaustion and fire. I could barely breathe past the ache in my chest, the sharp stab of cracked ribs and bruised lungs. My skin stung with every shift, scraped raw by shackles and stone. But I wouldn't lower my gaze. Not for him.

Not now.

Because I felt something. Something wrong and right at once, like thunder building behind a stone wall. Help was close. It had to be. I cou

Xander’s POV“André?!” My voice cracked against the dungeon walls as I burst through the doorway, too late to stop any of it.Smoke stung my lungs. The room reeked of blood and burning. Stone scorched. Metal twisted. And right there, in the center of it all, André lay crumpled, unmoving, Theo's body laid unmoving beside him, it looked like André didn't plugged his heart right out of his chest. He was slumped against the wall, his chest torn open, cavity gaping wide. Blood glistened in thick, black puddles. His heart was nowhere near his ribs it was across the floor, discarded like meat. A wet thing that still twitched when I looked at it.But André....He lay on his side, body twisted, face slack. His fingers twitched once, then stilled. His blood smeared the floor in thick, curling lines. Not from wounds. From within. His veins were dark. Too dark. And his skin his skin was steaming like something inside him was burning its way out.“Tex?” I dropped to my knees beside them both, hear

André’s POVThe air was thick with blood. Not the kind that made you flinch and move on but the kind that clung to your skin, crawled into your lungs, and stayed there. It coated the stones beneath our boots, smeared across the walls in erratic slashes, like something had painted with carnage. The copper stench hit first sharp and nauseating. Then came the silence. That eerie, unnatural kind that meant death had passed through and was waiting to collect more.Zane was a blur of motion down the corridor, twin blades glinting with fresh red, slicing through what few sentries were left. Behind him, Darius covered the rear, blade raised, his jaw clenched tight. Focused. Ready. But Xander and I we surged forward like bloodhounds on a scent. And it wasn’t just scent. It was him. Tex. Broken or not, he was still alive hopefully, I just pray he is. The bond between him and his sister was something I didn't want to break and I don't want anyone to break it because when that happens, Genevieve

  • Claimed By The Alpha: Cursed Desires   Rattling Chains

Tex’s POVTime didn’t exist down here. Not really. Not in the way it used to, time here was hard to tell. There was no sun. No moon. No sense of day or night. Just the cold, damp stone beneath me and the smell of rot that lived in the cracks. I stopped trying to count the hours after the first few cycles of waking and drifting into drugged oblivion. Now, there was only the clink of chains whenever I shifted, the slow, rhythmic drip of water from a pipe overhead, and the low, venomous sting of whatever Theo kept pumping into my veins. Something to keep me weak. Quiet. Obedient.I wasn’t.Even if my body gave out, my mind still clawed and screamed. I held on to the anger. To the memory of who I was. To Genevieve. Her face was sometimes the only thing that kept me from sinking into the dark.My wrists were raw from fighting the cuffs. Ankles too. The skin split open days ago, maybe longer, and now it burned with infection. Every breath tasted like rust, mildew, and defeat.Sleep didn’t c

  • Claimed By The Alpha: Cursed Desires   Shadows Beneath Stone

André’s POVThe moon veiled itself behind thick, rolling clouds, plunging the world into a silvery-black shadow the exact cover we needed. We moved like whispers across the forested border, shadows among shadows. Our breath was low, steady. No words. Only signals, flicks of fingers and nods of heads. The bond between my men and I didn’t require sound. It was forged in blood and fire, tested in wars far worse than this but none as personal.Retrieve Tex. Leave no trace. That was the mission. That was the oath.I led them forward, the rough texture of the hand-drawn map etched into my mind’s eye. I remembered everything every thorn-wrapped tree, every bend in the cliffs, every silent slope behind the Angelic Moon Packhouse. This forest had once known my laughter. My footsteps in training. Now it knew the weight of my vengeance, the silence of a ghost who had returned to take back what was his.We reached the first wall one of many invisible defenses wrapped around the estate. Two guards

  • Claimed By The Alpha: Cursed Desires   A King’s Gambit

André’s POVThe war room was quiet too quiet.Only the soft crackling of the hearth filled the silence as I stood before the massive oak table at the center of the chamber. A map sprawled across its surface like an open wound, veins of ink and pins slicing across territories, alliances, and threats. Lines meant to contain power. Pins meant to mark danger. Borders meant to keep war at bay.But none of it mattered. None of it could hold my attention.Because my eyes kept drifting again and again to a single black dot on the far eastern edge of the parchment.Angelic Moon Pack. The ink there bled more than the others. Maybe it was my imagination. Maybe it was prophecy. That’s where they were keeping him.Where he was suffering.Tex.Xander stood across from me, arms folded tightly over his chest, his posture radiating barely-contained rage. He looked like a man fighting a storm within his jaw was tense, his breath shallow. His eyes didn’t blink much these days, as if he feared he’d miss
