GENEVIEVE'S POV

“Listen, that's the only outfit you're permitted to wear. Alpha Lance personally gave the instruction and if you're not interested, you can use the door!” Madam Helen, our supervisor queried with fury etched on her face and I sighed frustratedly, adjusting the mini dress that could barely cover my thighs. All I requested was permission to put on something decent as it was the guests at the Alpha's dinner I'd be serving, not some men at a strip club.

“I apologise on her behalf, ma'am. You have nothing to worry about, we'll begin to serve the guests immediately,” Brenda, my best friend who introduced me to the job, apologized on my behalf, clasping both hands in front of her and faking a smile to avoid provoking her further.

Ma'am Helen sucked her teeth and shot me a scornful glare before exiting the room, leaving me with Brenda and our other colleagues who seemed really comfortable in the dress that left us half naked. They began to head out of the room but I remained rooted to the spot, trying as much as I could to increase the length by pulling it down but it only exposed a greater portion of my cleavage, revealing my boobs.

“Brenda, I don't think I can do this…” I shrugged, feeling very uncomfortable. A deep frown formed between my brows as I walked closer to the mirror to size up my image.

“Genny, it's just an intimate dinner. The guests present won't be more than fifty. The pay is mouthwatering, you and I know you need this money more than anyone else. Remember your mortgage bills, your mother's debt, Tex’s tuition fees…..” She paused and heaved a sigh.

“I know you're a very hardworking lady. I also know this is not the kind of job you like to do but at this point, you don't have a choice. It's just for tonight, come on– Let's go,” She urged in a convincing tone and I couldn't deny the fact that she had a point.

“Brenda, I heard only men were invited for the dinner, is that true?” I asked to satisfy my curiosity because on our arrival, I heard one of the girls whispering it to the blonde who cared to listen.

“That shouldn't bother you. Just do your thing and avoid looking them in the eye, okay?”

I nodded, taking a deep breath, determined to pull this off. She flashed me a warm smile and we both headed out of the room, towards the kitchen. On our arrival at the kitchen, the other ladies were already leaving with trays containing mouthwatering dishes and I gulped, seeing the sharp glint in ma'am Helen's eyes.

I couldn't help but wonder why she had great resentment towards me. We barely just met some hours ago and even after pleading for a long time, she refused to let me work. She only changed her mind when she realized one of the girls called in sick and I was lucky to be accepted as a replacement.

“Don't stare at me like that, idiots! Get your sluggish asses in here and do your job!” She barked at the top of her voice and we scurried towards the arranged platters and picked them up.

As we headed towards the dining hall, Brenda stepped closer to me with the tray still in her hands. “She can be quite annoying but please, tolerate her excesses. It's just gonna last for a few hours, after which you'll get your pay and leave.” She whispered to my hearing and I nodded, pressing my lips in a thin line.

We finally reached the entrance of the hall and the rate of my heartbeat intensified rapidly as I heard the sound of laughter and subtle conversation being held. I suddenly became nervous and my hands trembled, weakening my hold on the tray.

“Genny, you can't do this here. They're just men, they don't bite. Haven't you worked as a waiter at a strip club before? Why are you acting like an amateur now?” Brenda asked with creased brows, letting out a breath of exasperation. I felt really bad for stressing her out but it was more difficult than I felt it'd be.

“I'll go in first, just walk behind me and no one will notice you, okay?”

I nodded, hoping it'd be as easy as it sounded and I gripped the edges of the tray firmly, shutting my eyes tightly to calm my tense nerves but it didn't help at all. She took the first step and I sluggishly dragged my foot behind her till we were finally inside the grandiose hall.

Deep masculine voices and the clattering sound of cutleries echoed in the hall as the smell of expensive cologne and mouthwatering aroma wafted through my nostrils. I needed no soothsayer to know that only the elites were present and myself and fellow waitresses were the only peasants. I kept my gaze fixed on the golden tiles as I walked towards the table, putting down the tray with a curt bow.

I could feel their lustful gazes fixed on me and a feeling of disgust welled up in my gut. If their prying eyes could take off my dress, I knew I'd be naked the very instant I stepped into the hall. I quickly turned around to leave as the atmosphere became tense and I dashed towards the door.

“Hey… I don't eat shrimps,” A shrewd baritone voice called my attention blankly with indifference and I halted in my tracks, bawling my fists as I cursed under my breath.

Brenda urged me to leave and went ahead to attend to him. “Not you, that girl.” He responded nonchalantly and a knot formed between my brows. Just when I thought I'd be able to breathe for a second, he decided to be a jerk.

I turned around with great reluctance and the slight frown on my face was replaced with actual hatred and disdain the moment I saw the face of the man. The sharp jaw, pointed nose, carved brows, unique almond orbs and signature annoying smile. Such enthralling features possessed by a corky bastard left me wondering if the moon goddess suddenly became partial.

He is the same cocky bastard who forced me to dance, acting all high and mighty, I can't forget that face because it caused me my job before. I still remember that day all too well.

I didn't think such a jerk would have the opportunity to sit amongst the Alpha's distinguished guests which was why I subdued the urge to charge towards him and leave a terrible scratch on his face at first but now that I've seen his face, a thousand ways to send an asshole to hell flashed through my mind and I tried my best to act civil in the presence of the Alpha to avoid being punished.

“Well, shrimp is part of every meal on the menu for tonight. There's nothing I can do for you,” I retorted with a challenging glare, causing heads to turn in my direction. Brenda slightly gave me a nudge from behind and I ignored her. I needed to seize the opportunity to give this bastard a taste of his own medicine.

“If there's nothing for me on the menu…. Can you get yourself on the menu, then?” He lifted a brow, sizing me up flirtatiously and I was blazing with fury.

“You're just a—”

“Watch your tongue, bitch! How dare you speak to my guest in that manner? There's a lot to eat and drink. Now, get this shit off my face and serve him a fresh meal without shrimp!” Alpha Lance ordered in a commanding tone, cutting me off and he flashed me a mischievous smirk that made my stomach churn as I picked up the tray.

“Do you know him?” Brenda asked with a frown as she pulled me away from the hall and I was panting heavily.

“Of course I know him. How can I forget the cause of my downfall? That was the bastard who ordered me to strip at the club for some grands, knowing well that I was a waitress and not a stripper. He threatened to get me fired and guess what? I was sacked the next morning! He seems to be stalking me and I don't know how he got here.” I reeled off with fury blazing in my eyes and she urged me to calm down, which I did after placing the tray on the kitchen counter.

“Who could have thought such an alluringly handsome man would be a jerk? To think I spared him a second glance because of his mesmerising deep blue eyes,” Brenda sneered, staring into space and I rolled my eyes at her.

I was glad ma'am Helen was no longer in the kitchen, if not I would have been dead meat.

“You just joined the team today and you've already landed yourself into trouble. The person you just spoke to in a demeaning tone is the dreaded Alpha André Lopez of the silver lake pack. I don't need to tell you you just dug your own grave, right?” The blonde who was also present in the hall, chimed in sarcastically and I choked on my saliva as my eyes widened in shock and disbelief.

  • Claimed By The Alpha: Cursed Desires   “The Bond Remade”

Final Chapter Genevieve’s POVThe pack gathered at the ridge by dusk, drawn not by ceremony but by instinct by something older than custom or title. The grass was soft beneath our feet, lit gold by the dying sun, and the wind carried the scent of pine, earth, and something warmer. Hope.André stood beside me in the clearing, not dressed in anything ceremonial just a black shirt with the sleeves rolled, boots dusty from the trail. No armor. No crown. No sharp edges.Just him.The wolf who forgot. The man who came back. The mate who chose me again.I could feel the pulse of the bond thudding beneath my skin, stronger now than it had ever been, like it had survived death itself and grown louder for it.“I thought it would feel different,” I murmured, adjusting the hem of my dress as we stood facing each other. He tilted his head, smiling slightly. “Does it feel wrong?”“No,” I said. “It feels… quiet. Like I’m not fighting for you anymore.”“That’s because you don’t have to.”Keira stood

  • Claimed By The Alpha: Cursed Desires   The Way He Holds Me

Tex’s POVI didn’t remember falling asleep, but I remembered waking up.Not in a cold cell or a crowded barracks. Not with bruises forming and blood drying on my ribs. But warm. Soft.Safe.The sheets smelled like sandalwood and storm winds, the kind of scent that clung to skin and whispered of power kept tightly leashed. The mattress beneath me was far too soft for someone like me someone who spent years learning how to rest with one eye open and a knife under the pillow.I wasn’t used to this.I wasn’t used to being wanted. But Xander he didn’t ask me to understand it. He just kept showing up.I opened my eyes to find him standing near the window, shirtless, a steaming mug in his hand, gaze fixed on the horizon as if the world owed him an explanation. He didn’t notice I was awake at first. Or maybe he did, and he was just giving me the space to breathe. He always did that. Never crowding never forcing just there. His presence was big in a room. Not loud, not aggressive but steady. H

  • Claimed By The Alpha: Cursed Desires    Claimed Again

Genevieve’s POVI woke to silence. But it wasn’t the kind that sent fear skittering up my spine. It was thick, heavy with something unspoken charged. The air around me felt different. Like the room itself had taken a deep breath and was holding it.I blinked against the morning light, slow to rise, until I felt it— im.André.He was already sitting up beside me, shirtless, his elbows resting on his knees, his head bowed like he’d been waiting. Watching. Thinking. His scent was stronger than usual earthy, electric. The wolf close beneath the surface. When he turned to look at me, I knew instantly.Everything was back.I could see it in his eyes. No more confusion. No more searching. No gentle hesitations or nervous half-smiles. His gaze was sharp, burning, whole. He remembered.“All of it?” I whispered, my voice hoarse. His answer was slow. Heavy. Deliberate.“Every second. Every fight. Every time I touched you. Every time I made you scream my name and beg me to stop teasing you and ev

  • Claimed By The Alpha: Cursed Desires    The Wolf Remembers

André’s POVSleep didn’t come gently that night. It swallowed me whole. One moment, I was lying beside Genevieve, her breath warm against my shoulder, her fingers laced in mine as if afraid I’d disappear if she let go. The next, I was nowhere. No bed. No walls. No time. Just dark deep and endless, stretching in every direction. It didn’t feel like a dream. It felt like being buried alive inside my own mind. Then I heard it.The growl.Low. Ancient. Not a sound of threat but of presence. Of power. Of pain.It echoed through me like thunder.“You’re not lost,” the voice rumbled, not in words exactly, but in understanding. “You can’t be lost. I’ve been here. I never left.”My wolf. Not a beast. Not an echo. A part of me. My protector. My anchor. The version of myself that knew the truth before I was ever ready to face it.He emerged from the black, massive and glowing faintly gold beneath his fur. His eyes were mine but clearer. Older. Timeless. And he was angry. Not with me. But at the

  • Claimed By The Alpha: Cursed Desires   The Memory in the Kiss

Genevieve’s POV The sun was beginning to dip behind the treeline, casting long golden shadows across the kitchen floor. Keira had left an hour ago, heading out to visit old friends in the southern ridge, promising she’d be back before nightfall. The house had gone quiet in her absence peaceful, warm. The air smelled faintly of tea leaves and something sweet André had tried to help me bake earlier. He’d failed spectacularly, but it hadn’t mattered. He’d laughed. A real laugh, not hollow or polite. I’d held onto the sound like it was something sacred. Now, he stood near the window, arms folded across his chest, watching the light shift through the glass. The evening glow hit the side of his face, outlining the strong line of his jaw, the curve of his brow, the soft shadows under his eyes. He looked… like himself. Not just the shell of the man I’d been caring for. André Vitale. Alpha. Warrior. Lover. The man who once held me so tightly I forgot how to stand on my own and then taught me

  • Claimed By The Alpha: Cursed Desires    Like Home

André’s POV I heard their laughter before I opened my eyes. It wasn’t loud, not forced or shrill the way laughter sometimes sounds when people are trying too hard. It was quiet, muffled through the walls and low enough that it slipped into my dreams like sunlight through blinds gentle, uninvited, but warm. It sounded… normal. Familiar. It sounded like home.I blinked slowly, adjusting to the soft orange glow bleeding through the curtains. The room smelled like herbs and vanilla, something brewing just beyond the doorway. My body ached, the same dull throb in my ribs and shoulder that always greeted me first thing in the morning, but it didn’t feel like pain today. Just a reminder that I was alive. Still here.Still healing.I pushed myself up slowly, careful not to disturb the blanket that had been pulled over me sometime in the night. When I sat upright, I could hear them more clearly Keira and Genevieve, their voices bouncing off the kitchen walls in that easy rhythm women fall int
