Chapter 2— Auctioned To My Nightmare 

Alicia's POV 

"Please don't take mother away from me. Please spare my father." I cried as the guards swerved me out of the way and dragged mom and dad to the carriage waiting outside.

The whole Pack was a complete mess. Cries and yelling everywhere. Chaos— there was nothing close to peace.

This was the second time our Pack would be raided by the Moon Blood Pack. 

"Spare the little ones and go for the elderly!" Their Alpha yelled and for the first time, I looked into his blue eyes—dangerous and burning with impatience.

Ignoring the fact that he looked ruthless, I ran to him and amidst the looming chaos, went on my knees and grabbed his leg.

"Please spare my parents or take me along. I don't want to be left here alone." I cried, my voice frail and croaky. "They're all I've got. Please."

He chuckled and yanked me away. "Move away young girl, what makes you think I would listen to you? You know what?" He paused, his smooth thumb tracing my jaw. Still his touch felt like a sharp needle, piercing my skin.

"Alpha Caspian needs your parents and he's taking them, okay? You should be grateful that I'm sparing you, golden eyes." He patted my hair and shoved me away again.

"Get them, you all! Time is ticking." He turned away and when I tried running after him, his men carried me and for a moment, I thought they were going to throw me to the carriage.

But no, I was locked up in our tattered small house.

Through the window, I could see my mom's face, full of tears. She seemed to be searching for me as she kept lookin around.

"Mother!" I screamed out my lungs but she couldn't hear me. Dad was in a different carriage and I couldn't see him.

The Moon Blood Pack took the captives away and the last man I saw was Alpha Caspian.

The golden chain around his neck shone brightly and he kissed it with a smirk before leaving too.

The Pack was a mess, completely wrecked and left badly damaged. Everyone set out, crying and lamenting over the damage.

It was worth it all. How could I live without my parents?

I squatted on the floor, my head in my palms. I couldn't stop my tears from flowing down.

Now that I have lost everything, what would become of me?

The capture of my parents thrusted me into a life of suffering and being unloved.

The cold water that sank into my skin woke me up from that nightmare.

I sat up, breathing heavily. When was I going to stop having this dream?

My eyes met with Beta Rosa whose face held hatred and scorn. 

I glanced around and gasped when it was morning already. 

I had thought of running away last night but the security was tight. I knew I could barely walk past the gate without getting caught.

That would mean more troubles for me so I had to accept my fate.

"Others are ready, Alicia. What's keeping you waiting? Get up!" 

"I'm Sorry, Beta Rosa." I apologised and scurried out of the room to avoid more rants.

The carriage was ready and we all queued up, waiting to receive orders from the Alpha.

In no time, we arrived at the Blackwood Pack where the auction was taking place.

Again, we were made to queue up and slowly we marched into the auction hall, going through the backstage.

The chains locked on our bodies made us slow but the whip hastened our footsteps and like oxes, we yelped and groaned from the sharp pain.

Getting auctioned was bad but I prayed inwardly not to fall into the hands of a more ruthless Alpha.

"Pull off your clothes. I want the buyers to see how endowed you are." Alpha Dane commanded, a smug smile on his face.

W...what? Strip naked? 

"The Omega guys should follow me. There's a auction event at the other hall for you. I'm sure the female and gay Alphas are going to like some of you." He nodded as he examined everyone.

"Beta Rosa you should oversee things while I'm at the other hall." 

Beta Rosa nodded with a grin and stepped forward after he left.

"The auction will start in twenty minutes so you'd better start pulling off your clothes." She eyed everyone with scrutiny as she gave her orders.

O foolish me! I should've ran away yesterday. St least I wouldn't have to face this public disgrace.

Stop, Alicia. This isn't the first time you'd be naked in front of others. I reminded myself.

Sometimes when Beta Rosa punished us, we were to strip naked and work at the Pack's farm.

Other times, whenever Alpha Dane's son came with his friends, he would order us to dance without our clothes on just to please his stupid friends.

Soon, the event began and groans filled the hall as we lined up on stage with other girls to be auctioned.

The first girl stepped forward and the auctioneer gestured towards her. 

"A dark skinned omega, tall and chubby. Who would be willing to have such great asset at 500 pieces of gold!" The baldheaded man shrilled and a man raised his hand.

"500 pieces of gold down." 

"600!" Another man yelled.

"800 pieces of gold!" A voice screamed from the middle of the hall.

The auctioneer was pleased by the men's interest in the girl and greedily, he raised the price.

"1500 pieces of gold for the dark chubby girl!"

"1500 down!"

"2000!" 

"Anyone willing to pay higher than that?" The auctioneer's eyes scanned the hall carefully but noone raised the price.

"2000 pieces of gold going….. Anyone?" 

The hall was silent.

"Okay. Dark skinned girl sold for 2000 pieces of silver!"

The event continued and it hurt me to see girls being auctioned like a breathless artifact.

Minutes passed by and now it was my turn to be auctioned. I stood with my legs like rubber, staring at my feet.

Every bidder looked like a pervert to me and I doubted that I'd get into good hands.

"Golden eyes with perky boobs! The previous owner wants 1000 pounds of Moon Blood for her. Anyone?" The auctioneer announced.

"1000 Moon Blood down!"

"2000 pounds!"

"2500 pounds!"

The auctioneer chuckled as he glanced at me. Why were they willing to sacrifice a lot to have me?

Was I that worthy?

"4000 pounds of Moon Blood and perky boobs girl is gone!"

I wrapped my arms around my body to shield myself from the hungry eyes of the bidders.

This was bad, really bad.

"4000 pounds of Moon Blood!"

"10,000 pounds!" A husky voice shouted and I gasped, forcing myself to look up.

Murmurs filled the room as all eyes turned to look at the man.

Who would be willing to buy me at such price!

My heart sank the moment I set my eyes on the same man who kidnapped my parents.

I could never forget his ruthless blue eyes, the golden chain around his neck.

He was the one.

"10,000 pounds going!"

There was silence.

"Perky boobs girl sold at 10,000 pounds of Moon Blood to the highest bidder!"
