ISABELLA GARCIA

As soon as I had a free moment, I hopped in my car and headed to the salon for a haircut.

To be honest, it wasn’t just the haircut that had me excited to step out. Yes, I did need a haircut but even more, I needed a break.

I wanted to lean back, relax, and clear my mind. The salon was the perfect place to unwind and feel at ease.

Thanks to Enzo’s connections, I’m treated like a VIP client here, getting pampered while getting a fresh makeover.

In my book, that’s a total win-win situation.

Daphne, my favorite stylist, grabbed a handful of my hair and brushed it gently. She spread the strands across her arm, inspecting them closely for a moment.

“I can give you the style you want and still mix things up a bit,” Daphne said, carefully moving the hair away from my face.

“How would that work?” I asked, curious.

Daphne stood behind me, holding her scissors in her right hand, ready to work her magic.

She touched my hair, and we both studied my reflection in the mirro

MARCO MARTINS “If it was there with him, it must be important. Has he taken the bait yet?” Enzo asked in a hushed voice as we walked toward our table. It was nestled by the tall glass windows, with a cozy fireplace glowing nearby. Isa and Cleo were already seated, waiting for us. “Not yet. He’s been tied up with work, so…” I said, letting my words trail off as we reached the table. Cleo flashed me a bright smile, her lips shining with bold red gloss that caught the light. I slid into the seat beside her and gave her a quick kiss, fully aware we had an audience. Enzo and Isa tried to hide their curious glances but failed miserably, their eyes betraying their interest. They brushed it off, and Cleo and I let the moment pass for now. “Nice to see you, Marco,” Isa said, her tone polite, likely just out of courtesy. I didn’t dislike Isa, but I’d never been fond of her either. Learning she was directly tied to the person who hurt my family only made things worse. “How was Florida?

  • Claimed By The Mafia Boss   This Meeting Never Happened

ENZO MORETTI On the flight home, I felt completely detached from reality. I was lost in my thoughts. Isabella noticed my silence when she pointed out some vibrant flowers in the magazine, and I didn’t respond because I didn’t hear her. She asked what was on my mind, and I brushed it off. I told her it was just work stress, that I was exhausted, and that I needed some rest. But I wasn’t looking for rest. Instead, I switched to another seat on the plane and dialed Marco’s number. Today, we had a critical hit planned for Augustine, and there could be absolutely no mistakes. “Your plane should be taking off now,” Marco’s calm but focused voice said on the phone. “Yeah, we just boarded, and should be taking off soon. How’s everything going on your end?” I asked him. “He’s on the move now. We’re waiting until he reaches the spot. You know how this works,” Marco replied, his tone sharp and clipped. “I know. Alright. Keep me posted,” I told Marco, seeing as there was nothing

ISABELLA GARCIA“What happened?” I asked Enzo, running to mum’s side. She held her throat, each cough shooting out and telling me what I needed to know.Mum’s smile was the odd one out because she managed to put on a happy face while the faint finger mark sliced a portion of her clavicle.“I warned her about doing something so stupid. Emiliana, speak,” Enzo said with rage, signaling for Mum to take the stand.“I seduced your high and mighty boyfriend, and so what?” Mum said letting her hands fall to the side. She looked between us, pushing her straight strands of hair to her back.“You did what?” I asked mum, my mouth falling to the ground.I couldn’t believe my ears. Maybe they were joking or I didn’t hear right. I only knew there had to be another explanation for it.“She set you up with Arash so she can have her way with me,” Enzo explained further, pointing to the door where Arash stood.Enzo clasped his hands together, holding the prayer palm under his chin so he could sigh a he

ENZO MORETTI Emiliana stood at the door to our bedroom, her figure framed in the soft light. I glanced at her briefly, already guessing she was here to talk about lunch plans. “Where’s Isa?” I asked instead, pulling my shirt over my head in one quick motion. My voice was casual, but my mind was elsewhere. Emiliana leaned against the doorframe, her nails gripping the solid wood tightly. The raven ring gleamed on her middle finger, catching my eye. It was a small detail, but it stuck with me. I’d been piecing together what she might know about us. When I realized she didn’t recognize my surname, I was furious at first. Then relief washed over me, only for the anger to creep back in. Marco had brought it up with his mother, but she shut the conversation down fast. She wanted no part in our plans, not even if we were seeking justice for the attack they’d faced. “A friend is visiting Isa downstairs,” Emiliana said, her voice steady but soft. She stepped into the room, her move

  • Claimed By The Mafia Boss   Arash Joins Us For Lunch

ISABELLA GARCIAI stood outside, soaking in the scenery, when Mum approached me with her usual confident stride. “I see you’ve reconnected with Arash,” Mum said, her voice dripping with that scheming tone she always used, like she was pulling strings behind the scenes. Her words irritated me, and my heart raced with a mix of anger and unease. I took a deep breath to steady myself. “Yes, he was Ethan’s doctor after his fall,” I said, turning to face her, locking eyes so she’d know I was serious. “Why are you bringing this up now?” Mum blinked, completely unfazed by my question, her expression calm and controlled. Instead of answering, she looked past me, her gaze settling on someone behind my shoulder. Slowly, she reached out, waving her hand. “Come on, she’s right here,” she called, her voice loud and inviting to whoever was approaching. Mum leaned in closer, bending slightly to meet my eyes. “Arash asked to see you, and I allowed it. He’s joining us for lunch,” she said, her w
