CHAPTER 10: FRYING PAN TO FIRE

Olivia felt her limbs sagging in relief when she saw her mate standing there, ready to defend her from the world. It was true that she was pissed off at him for marking her. But in the face of danger, her instincts told her she could always trust him and she trusted her instincts. With him in front of her, she felt the desperation that had taken over her vanish and she pushed at the man holding her with newfound strength. At her sudden attack, he flew backwards and though her hand, which was twisted by him, was aching, Olivia barely felt it. ‘Now that the Alpha is here, let’s see how you would touch me!’
