"I asked a question childe. Do not make me repeat it." Something about his cadence was rough and forbidding. I took an involuntary step back.
"It's nothing sir." Sir? Who calls their brother sir? "Jo here just got a little confused is all." Lilya stated brightly, her body straightening as she focused on her brother.
