Chapter Nine

"Please... Mmm..." Ivy moaned into the kiss. She was being kissed by the number one ladies' man and her brains had turned into water. The only thing that's in her head right at that moment is that the kiss was heavenly. She was still lost in the kiss when Chris pulled away.

"If I don't stop now, I will never be able to hold back anymore." He said as he placed his forehead against hers.

"Oh my God... What are you doing to me?" Ivy moaned out.

"You belong with me kitten. Only I am allowed to make you feel this way. No one else." He whispered.

"Mmmm, I need to go home. I didn't tell my friends I'll be staying out." She said after a few minutes.

"Okay. I'll let you go today but, next time, you'll go nowhere." He said as he placed her down at the table. He pecked her lips one more time and then held her hand and led her back outside.

They got into his car and were driven away. In less than thirsty minutes, they got to her house. When they came out of the car, Ivy saw someone she never wanted to set her eyes on. Sinclair!! Fucking bastard!! She screamed in her mind. But visibly, her grip on Chris tightened. He looked in the direction she was looking at and he also knew who he was. ' Her fucking ex-boyfriend' "let's leave. You don't have to talk to him," He said to Ivy.

"No, I need to. Let's go." Ivy said and took a deep breath. After that, she held onto Chris's hand and walked towards her door pretending she didn't see who was standing some feet away from the door.

"Ivy!!" Sinclair called when Ivy had passed him and didn't act like she saw him. "Ivy!! You can't pretend you didn't see me! Ivy!!" He called out to her when she didn't answer him.

"Who let out a mad dog out of its cage for God's sake!?." Chris cursed and turned to face Sinclair.

"What... Why??? What??"

"What the hell do you want from my woman that warrants you acting like a mad dog?" Chris asked before he could form all of the questions running through his head.

'How did she become his woman? What's going on here?' Sinclair screamed in his mind. He kept wondering how on Earth Ivy had gotten to know Chris Evans and her dressing. Was he seeing things? She looked so beautiful dressed like that. "Hi, I am Sinclair and I need to have a word with Ivy." He said to Chris as humbly as he could. He was there to talk to Ivy and not to get himself into trouble with the richest billionaire in the country. Not just in the country but, he is among the top five richest billionaires in the world.

"And I believe you heard me. What do you want from my woman!?" Chris asked again.

"I... I need to talk... I need to talk to her in private" He stuttered. Maybe from fear or respect, he didn't know.

Chris looked at Ivy and asked. "Do you want to?"

"No, I have nothing to say to him!" She shook her head and replied.

"You heard her, now, leave and don't ever come back here!" Chris said to him.

They made to go in but he rushed in front of them and blocked their way. "Listen, Ivy. Am only here to..." He was saying but the next thing he felt was his body landing on the floor.

"I don't know who the fuck ever told you that you could come and stand in my presence but, the next time you try this shit, you'll be saying bye-bye to the world." He warned and pulled Ivy away.

"Hold on please." Ivy stopped, pulled her hand out of his, and rushed back to Sinclair who was still in shock. "This is also a warning from me..." She said with a smirk and kicked him hard in the stomach. "Don't ever come before me again!" She added and with a second kick. "And this is for everything you took from me!" She kicked him one more time before walking back to Chris with a smile on her face. "Hell!!! That felt good. It's been years since I ever hit anybody and, I forgot how good it is." She said with a laugh and pulled him into her house.

Because of her excitement, she didn't see the smile that was on Chris's lips. The moment they entered the house, she felt her back against the wall, and Chris's Lips came crashing on hers. "Uhm... Hmm... What...?" She tried to say in between kisses.

A while later, Ivy could already feel her knees going soft and was picked up by Chris. He took her to the sofa and sat down with her on his lap. "I like your violent side. You could have kicked him and made him important. Why didn't you do that?" Chris asked her? While he was talking, his hand was drawing circles on her lower back.

Ivy was still giddy from the kiss earlier and hadn't recovered from the effect. She was leaning against his chest when she heard what he said. "Does it turn you on when I get violent? Are you a pervert? Violence turns you on?" She raised her head to look at him with raised eyebrows.

"I am whatever you think I am." He couldn't be bothered to explain. "You don't need to be violent before turning me on. You just need to be you and that's all! I like every side of you that I am seeing. It's refreshing."

Ivy tried to get off his thighs but he wouldn't have it. He held her in place and said. "Stop moving around recklessly. Or, I might be forced to take you here and now. You don't know how hard it is right now." He warned and that froze her in place.

Her cheeks turned red immediately. "Nobody is asking you not to," Ivy whispered bearly inaudible.

Chris heard her but still pretended like he didn't hear her and asked. "What did you say?"

"I said you should get up and go. It's getting late." She said Louder than the other time.

"Fine... I'll leave or I might go back on my words. See you tomorrow night my feisty kitten." He whispered into her ear and that sent a shiver down her body.

"Night!?" Ivy asked before she could stop herself.

"Yes. I have a meeting tomorrow morning and I have something on later in the afternoon. I'll be here by night to pick you up." He answered, kissed her one more time, and left her house.
