Alister povDad’s words provide me some sense of relief, but they don’t put my mind at ease at all. On one hand, I get that he’s not trying to make me feel better just for the sake of it and he truly means every word he says. On the other, I still have lingering doubts about my future with the people I’ve been calling my family for years now. Not to mention that dad is one thing, but uncle Luka and Lenox, mom, the same as grandma, all grandfathers and everyone else are completely different.
