Chapter 14

The moon was a blade in the sky, slicing through darkness as it hovered over the Bloodstone Cliffs. Wind howled, a mournful echo against the jagged rocks. Aria stood at the edge, the wind yanking strands of her hair as if it, too, wanted her attention. Her heart thudded, not with fear, but with fury and purpose.

“He was my father…” she whispered, the words burning her throat more than the cold.

Kael stood behind her, eyes shadowed. He didn’t move for a moment, then placed his hand on her shoulder. “He still chose to abandon you. Don’t let his blood define you.”

Her jaw tightened. “Then I’ll make my own name. As Aria, the Marked Luna. Not his daughter.”

Kael nodded. “And I’ll stand by you. Until the end.”

They didn’t need more words. Only the moon bore witness.

By dawn, Bloodhowl Pack stirred. The courtyard buzzed with tension. Warriors lined up, armor strapped, weapons gleaming. Fear simmered, but so did determination.

Lyra stepped forward, unfurling a scroll. “It’s confirm

Chapter 78Moments After the AmbushSmoke clouded the night sky, thick and choking. The earth trembled under charging paws, clashing blades, and dying screams.Zane’s rogue wolves howled as they stormed into the chaos, tearing through both Midnight warriors and the King’s soldiers alike. They came from all sides twice as many as anyone expected.“This isn’t a battle,” Kael growled as he ripped through an attacker. “It’s a massacre!”Beside him, Aria limped forward, blood dripping from the wound Elandra’s cursed arrow left in her side. But she didn’t stop.Couldn’t stop. Her body burned with agony, but something stronger rose in her chest, the Circle’s call.Every heartbeat echoed with power. The dagger at her side pulsed. The Moonfire within her screamed to be releasedElandra raised both arms and laughed as storms of black lightning crackled overhead.“This throne doesn’t belong to any of you!” she shrieked. “The Alpha King, Luna, the Midnight Pack all die tonight!”Zane appeared be

  • Claimed by the Midnight Alpha   The Summit of Shadows

Chapter 77 The tension hung like a noose around every neck.Thousands of wolves surrounded the bloodstone field of the Red Summit. No one spoke. No one moved. They waited watching, breathing in the storm building between the Midnight Pack and the Alpha King’s army.Aria stood alone before the throne of King Malrick, her chin lifted high, eyes gleaming silver beneath the hood of her dark cloak.Behind her, Kael, Rylan, Elsie, and a hundred of Midnight’s fiercest warriors held the line. They had orders not to move unless Aria gave the signal. The Alpha King rose from his throne. His voice was deep, smooth, and poisonous.“You’ve grown, Flameborn. Not the broken girl I expected.”Aria didn’t flinch. “I stopped being a girl when your soldiers slaughtered my kin.”He chuckled. “Your kin were traitors. The Circle defied the law of the Crown. They were given a choice to bend or burn.”“And you’ll find I don’t bend,” she said coldly. The King took a step closer. The air grew colder.“Then y

  • Claimed by the Midnight Alpha   The Queen Returns

Chapter 76 – The Queen ReturnsThree Days Later, Midnight Pack BorderThe air was heavy with the scent of blood and war.The Midnight Pack’s borders once protected by towering trees and spirit wards were shattered. Burned trees smoldered. The barrier was broken. Scouts lay dead, clawed and torn. And in the center of it all stood a black banner with a silver crown etched across it.The Alpha King’s warning had arrived.Kael growled as he stepped over the fallen warriors. His fury was barely contained. His Beta, Rylan, trailed behind him with tense eyes. “We weren’t ready for this.”“No one was,” Kael snapped.Behind them, Aria emerged from the trees cloaked in a long black coat, the blade of moonfire hidden along her spine. Her silver eyes swept across the battlefield, cold and unreadable. The pack wolves stared at her. Some whispered. Others bowed.Kael turned to her. “You don’t have to see this.”“I do,” she replied, stepping over the broken shield wall. “If I’m going to lead, I ne

  • Claimed by the Midnight Alpha   The Circle Awakens

Chapter 75 – The wind cut like knives as the trio moved deeper into the forgotten woods of the north.Every step toward the Sealed Circle was like walking through the breath of a sleeping god. The land had changed. Shadows clung unnaturally to the trees, and the silence pressed in like a weight. No birds. No animals. Just stillness.Aria led the way.Her silver armor was dulled by dirt and dried blood, but she moved with certainty, as if something deep in her bones knew the path. The dagger from Lucien pulsed faintly at her hip guiding her, testing her.Kael rode beside her, his gaze constantly scanning their surroundings, his wolf on edge.Lucien followed behind, unusually quiet. Since they left the pack, something about him had shifted. He avoided Aria’s eyes. Spoke only when needed. And she didn’t miss the way he gripped the hilt of his blade just a little too tightly. They’d camped near the outer ridge of the Sealed Alpha's territory last night. Now, the ruins were only hours

  • Claimed by the Midnight Alpha   Heir of the Sealed Alpha

Chapter 74 The Midnight Pack was quiet but it wasn’t peaceful. Not truly. Not with warriors buried in the earth, not with traitors unmasked, and not with the words of the Harbinger still echoing in Aria’s head:“You are heir to the first throne… the Sealed Alpha’s blood flows in you.”She stood at the mirror in Kael’s quarters, her hands trembling slightly as she undid the bandages along her side. The gash was healing, fast too fast. Her wolf had always been strong, but this was different.Like her blood was burning hotter.Like something ancient had awakened. She stared at her reflection. The Luna mark on her neck had darkened, now glowing faintly beneath her skin an eerie silver light that pulsed with her heartbeat. And her eyes once plain gray flashed with traces of violet in the dark.Aria pulled her hair back tightly and left the room.Kael was waiting outside, arms folded, his expression unreadable.“We need to talk,” he said. She nodded. “I know.”He fell into step beside her

  • Claimed by the Midnight Alpha   The Blood That Binds

Chapter 73– The forest was no longer silent.Growls echoed between the trees. The scent of blood, sweat, and steel filled the air. Midnight Pack warriors were positioned at every flank, crouched low in the brush, their fur bristling, their eyes glowing in the dark.Aria stood at the head of the central defense line, the Dead Ravine.Jagged rocks framed the narrow passage ahead. Thick fog rolled in from the eastern border like a warning.Behind her, dozens of wolves waited, hearts pounding, breaths visible in the cold air.Aria gripped the hilts of her twin daggers. Her silver hair was tied tightly, streaked with dried blood. The Luna mark on her neck pulsed under her skin faintly glowing, reacting to something dark approaching.Zane.She could feel him, even without a bond. Her voice rang out, calm but fierce. “Hold formation. No one shifts until I give the signal.”A young warrior beside her a she-wolf named Lira nodded. “Do you think they’ll come straight through?”“They will,” A
