Lisandra

The cake that I’m holding drops to the floor, making a loud thud sound and shattering everywhere. That is what seemingly gets their attention.

“What the fuck is going on here?” I ask, the pain loud and visible in my voice. My mate with his fucking cock in my sister. He scrambles up from her, trying to buckle his trousers appropriately, and approaches me with what looks like a remorseful, yet gleeful expression on his face.

“Lisandra, my love, this isn’t what it looks like. It’s all just a misunderstanding baby.” Is he being serious right now? Tears drop from my eyes as my hand smack his cheek hard.

“ A misunderstanding? You call your dick being inside my sister is a misunderstanding, huh Julian?” I ask, my voice rising by the minute. I then look at my sister. My beloved little sister who was the biggest reason for me still being here. Suddenly, hot fury fills my veins and before I can realize what I’m doing, I push Julian aside with sheer force, and rush towards her with a speed I didn’t even know that I was capable of. I feel a sharp pain in my gums which I have never felt before and my canines begin to elongate. All I see at the moment is red. In an instant, my hands are on her neck and I strangle her hard, lifting her with inhumane strength. Her eyes widen at what she’s seeing and she begins to choke. I release her only when her face turns blue and she slowly stops struggling. Shit! what the fuck just happened to me. I almost killed my Little sister.

“Lisa I…” I cut her off before she can even utter some sick excuse.

“How could you do this to me Gen? What did I ever do to you?

“No Li…” I cut her of again, the pain in my voice raw and agonizing

“ Shut the hell up! Every single thing I have endured up to this moment was for you Genevieve. I sacrificed my entire childhood just so you could have a better one. I endured abuse just so they wouldn’t hurt you! And this is how you repay me? By fucking my mate?” Tears drip down my face as she equally starts to cry on the floor. I try to find it in me to feel sympathy for her but all I can feel right now is immense hate and anger.

“I’m sorry Lisa. I couldn’t help myself. Julian and I, w-we…” she pauses and puts her head down in shame. She can’t even finish her sentence because she knows how wrong it is.

“Fuck you Genevieve. And fuck you too Julian. I hope you both get what you deserve.” I leave the both of them and run out of the pack house and into the woods. I run until I can’t physically move again and I fall to make knees and completely break down.

“ Selene! Can you fucking hear me?! Why are you doing this to me?” I scream at the bright moon, like the moon goddess can even hear me. It’s not like she has ever answered any of my prayers before. I sit on the dirt, the sound of crickets loud in the silence, and for a moment I wonder where I went wrong in all this. What did I even ever do to warrant this ? I’m hurt by mate’s betrayal but what hurts me the most is my sister’s betrayal. Gen and I have always been as thick as thieves. Heck, she’s the only real family I have and she went ahead to betray me like this. It feels like a hole has been carved into my heart

“Vulnera cordis sana. Lacrimae taceant. Pax in anima mea floreat.” As I chant the spell, a bright golden light calming my breathing, although it doesn’t calm the emotional pain I’m going through right now. Not even an emotional healing spell can heal me. What should I do? What can I do? I don’t think I can even stay in a room with Genevieve and Julian and ever be comfortable again. I don’t think I can survive in this pack any longer. I need to go out there and see what’s beyond Lunar ridge pack. There’s a whole kingdom out there and I refuse to confine myself with all the suffering and abuse to just this miserable pack. I have given this pack and this family my all that there’s nothing left to give. I have no reason to remain here any longer. Not after Julian and Genevieve’s betrayal. I have to leave this pack. I need to look for my real family, even if the chances of finding them are slim to none. I’ll fucking take that chance. I have nothing to loose.

With a nod of my head, I walk back to my house with my mind already made up. I’ll break the mate bond forever and I’ll leave the pack to become a rogue. I’ll do it all on the full moon gala where my presence won’t be noticed. I’ll finally be free.

“You won’t have to wait much longer, my sweet girl.”

A voice echoes directly inside my mind. It’s deep, powerful and unmistakably authorative. Where the hell did that come from? I stop in my tracks and turn around but I don’t see anyone I’m about to start walking again when the voice comes again, this time with a possesive growl.

“I’ve finally found you, and I am coming to collect what is mine.”

Lisandra I rush back into the meeting room, stumbling quite a few times before I successfully make it. I burst into the room and all eyes are on me. I know I look off. My cheeks are flushed and my heart beat is faster than it was when I left this room. They can all probably hear it.“What happened to you darling?”” Rhience asks me via mind-link and I shake my head to tell him that everything is fine. I don’t want to alarm him just yet in case I turn out to be wrong.“Is something the matter, Lisandra?” It’s Alyssa who asks this time and she has a really concerned look on her face. I observe her face very well. The similarities between our features are very uncanny. I am very positive that in the next few centuries I will look exactly like she does, minus the eyes.“Lisandra?”If she turns out to be my mother after all, my heart will be so full of joy.“Lisandra?”I will finally know what it feels to have a mother’s love. I don’t even notice that her mouth is still moving because I’m

LisandraRhience growls at Nazar angrily and Alyssa has to intervene before they actually start a full blown war.“Rhience, congratulations on finding your mate. She is very pretty.” She gives me a small smile.“You are far too kind Alyssa. You look stunning yourself.” Her smile grows wide which causes me to smile. Both of the men are gaping at us in wonder.“Shall we begin the meeting?” She speaks again and we all nod.“To be quite honest, I don’t really see the reason why we are having this meeting. Everything is absolutely fine.” Nazar says smugly which causes Rhience to growl loudly again.“Your vampires have been intruding our lands and causing nuisance, Nazar. So, yes. There is every need for this meeting.” I speak up for Rhience and Alyssa nods at me in respect. Nazar looks at me and a smirk forms on his lips. A look of mischief and admiration crosses his face. “Well, Queen Lisandra, I assure you that I do not know anything about that. I’m sure they are just acting out of tur

Lisandra. When Rhience said the meeting was going to be held on neutral grounds, I didn’t expect the neutral grounds to be void-like.We didn’t even use any mode of transport. We just…teleported.“You can teleport?”I ask him the question in bewilderment. I wasn’t aware that teleportation was one of his many different abilities.“I’m a witch and I can’t even teleport, so how can you?” Now I’m jealous of his abilities. A laugh leaves his mouth as we keep on walking into the void. Where we are walking to, I have no idea.“Are you jealous, Queen Lisandra?” He asks jokingly and I huff in playful annoyance. “Duh? Of course I am. It’s like you’re the moon goddess’s favorite creation.”“That, I am darling.” He grins and we keep on walking until he comes to a stop. I stop right behind him and he sinks his hand inside his coat pocket, bringing out a small bag of something.“What’s that?” I ask, curiosity getting the best of me.“You’ll see.” He goes to the far end of the surrounding and starts

LisandraNala throws herself at me in a brutal attack, her fist flying toward my face with raw force. I barely have time to react before my instinct takes over. I duck low and drive my own fist into her midsection. The impact makes her stumble back a step, her eyes widening in pure shock. She didn’t expect that. She didn’t expect me to fight back this hard.“You’re stronger than you look,” she hisses, recovering quickly and launching another flurry of punches. I block the first, dodge the second, and counter with a sharp jab to her jaw. The crack of impact against skin echoes across the training grounds.Around us, the other warriors begin to slow their own spars. One by one they stop completely, turning to watch. I feel their eyes on us, but I don’t care. All I see is Nala’s arrogant face and the memory of her sitting in my chair like she belonged there. She comes at me again, faster this time, swinging with everything she has. I meet her head-on. My fists move hard and fast, matchin

Lisandra.“You already know the story of my abuse, adoptive parents and all. I figured out that I had magic when I was fifteen and I started practicing in secret. I didn’t have much material, but I found a small spell book at Lunar ridge’s central library. Not sure what it was doing there though. I stole it and nobody ever found out.”“You’re so brave, darling. What about your sister? Tell me about your relationship with her.” A smile crosses my lips at the mention of Genevieve, but it quickly diminishes when the memory of her betrayal crosses my mind. “Genevieve…she was the only family who treated me like a normal person. Gen didn’t fault me for not having my wolf when I turned eighteen. She was the only one who loved me in that whole pack.” I pause as a drop of tear slips down my cheek. “When I caught her with Julian,it broke my heart. Her betrayal devastated me more than Julian’s. It broke me that my own sister, whom I did everything in my power to protect, could even think of bet

Lisandra. I grunt in exhaustion but I don’t stop. I keep on hitting the warrior, and instead of him fighting back, he’s just taking the hits.“Hit me back, dammit” “Your majesty, I’m exhausted. We have been going at it for an hour.” I pause and look at Mona who is sitting by the side.“He’s right Lisa. I think you need to rest for a bit.”“I don’t, Mona. What I need to do is to train.”“I love you Lisa, but I’m not fighting with you anymore. You almost dislocated my shoulder.” I wince at her words.“Sorry Mona. I’m just so…angry.” I face the warrior again and keep hitting.“Yeah. I’m sure the whole palace can tell.”“H-he allowed that woman into our home. The bitch thinks she can have him.” I hit the warrior so hard that he falls flat on his back.“Well, it’s a good thing that she can’t. I think you need to relax. Rhience has eyes only for you.”“Yeah, right.”“She is right darling. I only have eyes for you and no one else.” An inaudible gasp leaves my lips at his voice. I turn to s
