LOGIN“Please, stop," I gasped, my voice barely a whisper as Damien's lips trailed down my neck, sending shivers down my spine. I tilted my head to the side, giving him more access, unable to resist the pleasure he was giving me. "Are you sure you want us to stop?" Dorian's voice was teasing, his hands exploring my body in a way that made my heart race. "I have a mate," I managed to say, the words coming out in a breathless plea. "Don't worry, we'll make you forget all about him," Rhett murmured, his lips capturing my nipple, sending a jolt of desire through me. How did my fate take such a dramatic turn? Framed by my ruthless stepmother and rejected by my destined mate, I was cast out of my pack, forced to leave behind everything I knew. The decree was clear: never set foot in my former home again. Yet, life had other plans. Now, I find myself bound to not one, but three stunningly handsome and formidable alphas - my second chance mates. How did I go from outcast to the center of their attention?"

“Where the fuck?” I asked, frowning in confusion as I rubbed the sleep from my eyes.
“Good morning,” he said, entering the room. His blue eyes met my green orbs and I couldn’t help but frown in confusion as I tried to remember where I was or how I got here.
“I was drunk, wasn’t I?” I asked, and the man smiled, putting a cup of coffee on the bedside table beside me. I looked down at it for a second before turning to face him. My heart raced and I couldn’t help but frown as my blood boiled. I grabbed the cup, and the man chuckled before wrapping his hand around my wrist.
“Not so fast, huntress.” He said, and I let the cup go, knowing that I would be harming myself if I choose to do anything too rushed. He took a step back, and I covered my body with the blanket as he kept his eyes on mine. “Or should I say, mate?”
“There is no…”
“Believe it or not, as much as feeding my wolf’s hunger was tempting as I felt you, this was the last thing that I wanted to find myself dealing with.” He said, making my eyes darken. I tried to find my blade, and he smirked, pulling it out of the back of his pocket to show it to me. “Looking for this?”
“You fucking…”
“I am not going to hurt you, believe me, I would have if I wanted to.” He said, smirking as he threw the blade to me. I grabbed it midair, and he nodded, seeming impressed before taking a step forward to sit on the edge of the bed beside me. I couldn’t be the mate of a monster, my family’s enemy. “But it seems to me that the two of us are not going to meet in a middle line, would we?”
“You screwed…”
“You enjoyed it, well, the two of us did.” He said, smirking at me. The picture of him on top of me, leaning in as I wrapped my arms around his neck with a smile on my face played in my head, and I had to force myself to close my legs so as to not have the scent of my arousal hit his nostrils. “But now it is time for your rejection.”
“Rejection?”
“Surely, you don’t expect me to be with a huntress whose family’s aim is to kill me, my family, and my whole kind, do you?” He asked, his eyes meeting mine for a second. The fact that I knew that he was my family’s enemy was one thing, my reason was another, but what the man didn’t understand was that I didn’t share the same vocation, unless I needed to.
“You are a bloody bastard. You could have rejected me last night, why choose to sleep with me before doing so?” I asked, shaking my head in question and he smirked.
“I told you, I had to feed my wolf’s hunger off, and you being drunk made it a lot easier.” He said, making my chest ache. I held the blanket to my chest as I fought back my tears at his harsh words, and he stood from the edge of the bed.
“I, Alpha Alessandro D’Almerita, reject you, wolf huntress Valerie Morozov, as my mate and Luna.” He said, glaring at me, not even blinking as he said it before he turned to the door. My chest burned, and I knew that he didn’t expect me to accept the rejection as easily, but I wasn’t going to allow him to walk out victorious.
“Alessandro.” I said, calling the man, watching as he froze, looking at me over his shoulder as he did.
“I, Valerie Morozov, accept your rejection, Alpha Alessandro D’Almerita.”
Serena’s POVI stared at Rhett, completely thrown off. “You’re joking.” It was a statement, but from the expression on his face, I knew that he wasn’t joking. He chuckled. “You make it sound ridiculous.”“Because it is ridiculous,” I shot back. “Why would you like me?”“Fine! Just pretend to be my girlfriend for a few weeks. No, days,” he said, sounding every bit serious.I scoffed. “Why would I do that?”“Because,” he said smoothly, leaning casually against the infirmary doorframe, “I thought about what you said. The Elders never actually asked me about getting engaged. They just assumed. And since I don’t like being told what to do, I figured that we should break their little plan before it even starts.” I frowned. “And how exactly does pretending to be your girlfriend help with that?” Rhett shrugged. “They’re going to announce my engagement at next week’s party. But if I show up with you, they’ll have no choice but to back off.” I folded my arms. “Sounds like a you problem. Tha
Serena’s POVApollo’s fever wasn’t going down. His tiny fingers clutched at my shirt as I hurried through the frozen hallways. The infirmary was just ahead. I pushed the door open with my shoulder. “Doctor!” I called out, my voice urgent as I prayed inwardly that someone would be there.A middle-aged woman in a white coat turned from the counter. Her sharp eyes softened when she saw Apollo bundled in my arms. “He has a fever,” I explained quickly, laying him down on one of the beds. “The heating system is broken. I don’t know how long he’s been like this.” She quickly came over, placing a gentle hand on his forehead. “His fever is high,” she confirmed, her brows knitting together. “We need to bring it down before it gets worse.” “What do we do?” I asked anxiously. “The children’s fever medicine is in the storeroom, could you get it for me? I need to monitor his breathing.”“Yes, of course.” I turned and rushed out. The wind howled through the corridors as I made my way toward t
Serena’s POVI felt Dorian’s grip on me tighten before he suddenly let go and took a step back, his expression unreadable. He picked up my phone, eyes scanning through the new files Sophia had sent.I didn’t move. Didn’t dare.Every swipe of his thumb felt like it carved deeper into my chest.I didn’t try to take it back—too afraid it would make things worse, too afraid of what he might think. The air in the room turned suffocating. Gone was the warmth from our kiss, replaced by something cold, sharp, and distant. When he finally finished, he set the phone down without a word. Calm. Controlled. But I knew—something between us had shifted. And there was no going back.“Dorian…” I whispered. His eyes eyes burned with something I couldn’t name. And for the first time, I felt afraid.I swallowed hard. “Dorian, please…” “You said you liked me.” His voice was low, but it carried something dabgerous. “But you don’t trust me.” The words hit me harder than any physical blow. I reached
Serena’s POVDorian was hurt. That was all I could think about as I watched him stand there, blood seeping from his side, his silver fur marred by deep scratches. Damien had won. The realization sank in like a stone in my stomach, but before I could move towards Dorian, a firm hand clamped around my wrist. “Where do you think you’re going?” Damien’s voice was low and sharp, a clear warning. I turned to glare at him, trying to yank my hand free, but his grip only tightened. His dark eyes burned into mine, filled with authority and something darker… possessiveness. “We made a deal, Serena.” His tone was deceptively calm, but there was something about it…something that made my blood boil. I knew exactly what he was talking about. I lifted my chin. “I never agreed to this competition.” His jaw twitched. “But you let it happen and it happened.” I scoffed. “I tried to stop it, but none of you listened to me.” I motioned towards the gathered wolves, their murmurs filling the air. “A
Serena’s POVI was still soaked, my lungs still burning from the water Damien had shoved me under, but as I watched the three of them stand there, ready to fight over me like I was some prize, rage burned through my veins.I knew what this was. It wasn’t about me. It was about dominance, about the
Serena’s POVThe moment the maid gasped in exaggerated horror, I knew exactly what was coming. I had come to the kitchen to take my food that afternoon, but the way she clutched the empty jewelry case to her chest, trembling as if she’d just witnessed a murder, made it clear, this was not a coinci
Serena’s POVMy hands trembled as I stared at the photograph. Dorian’s stepmother, the previous Luna! But why was she dressed as a maid? Something about the picture sent a chill through me. It wasn’t just the unsettling look in her eyes or the fact that this photo had been tucked away in an old b
Serena’s POVI sighed, resigning myself to my current predicament. There was no getting out of Damien’s grip anytime soon.
