Chapter 41: Playful Banter

As Lary's coworkers gathered around, some of them whispered amongst themselves, curious about the woman who had just entered their boss's life. Those who knew Sherly remained tight-lipped, exchanging knowing glances, while those who were unfamiliar with her turned to Lary for answers.

"Who was that woman with the boss?" one of them asked, his curiosity evident in his tone.

The other one added, "It was the first time I saw her, and to think that she could touch the boss, that is really amazing." He then looked at Lary. "Isn't the boss not wanting other women to touch him?" he added.

Lary sighed, knowing he would have to tread carefully with his response. "That's Sherly Montenegro," he explained, his voice serious. "She's someone you don't want to mess with."

"We don't want to mess with that woman. If that woman is our boss' woman, then she really isn't someone we could mess with," one of the people near Lary said.
