Athena

“Athena,” a soft voice called me. I know this voice. I missed the sound of this voice. 

“Athena,” the voice called out at me with so much care.

I slowly opened my eyes and looked up to see my mom smiling down at me.

“Mom,” I said, shouting. I sat up to hug her but once I was in a seated position, my mom disappeared. 

“Athena,” a voice called me.

“Dad,” I called out. But received no reply. I stood up and walked in the direction where the voice was coming from. I walked up a snowy hill. The trees disappear and everywhere I look is just white snow. But when I reached the top of the hill I froze. There stood a pure white wolf with crystal blue eyes. I was on alert, thinking of what I should do when it attacks.

“I am not the enemy,” it said in a whisper. <
